well..either way, we would have to rest players if we play first 11 every game..as it would be a big ask for them to play 50+ games without getting injured/tired.. maybe we could rest them in league games..?

I would use the League cup (as it starts so early) as reserve game...we dont need the league cup, we dont need the extra games early on give me a storming start to the league over a 3rd round knockout of the league cup any day of the week...

lets be honest, staying in this league any longer has nothing really good about it..not with the backing pardew has available to him.. however, we are where we are so we have to make the best of it..and it was VERY refreshing to hear yesterday (already) that the club want to sign CCC players (or try) and will simply go out to win the league next season... IMO, I would quite happily go out of the league cup first round next season so we can focus on the league early on... next season = no excuses..and I believe we wont need any
