I like antonio as a player..really honest and you can clearly see that he gives his all...hopefully his raw talent will be polished a bit and he can be really good

nice one.. what sort of striker is he..? more of a big player or a nippy one..? with antonio and waigo we already have options to have real pace at the top of the formation..

agree mate you can clearly see why pardew likes him...energy and pace to burn...works his bloody socks off and is a raw talent.. if the coaching staff can do some work with him..he could be a very good player in league 1/CCC I would assume we will sign him for free at the end of the season...worth a punt if you ask me

Markus Cortese Pardew Lambert Harding Fonte Wilkins Hammond yep, everyone at the club seems to have ambition and are pretty much delivering a pretty good season for saints....they have moved well past the "we are lucky to survive" and giving it a real go on all fronts....

if the fan base is not there..not a great deal theyt can do...you can only imagine it will build over time

well...part and parcel of lower league football really...

the world cup bid is for the whole city...not the stadium.. the stadium made up about 1 chapter from about 20 of a city bid not too sure that you had to have a full house every week to have the right to host a world cup game..?

I dont know how many times I have to mention in a post that I think Lallana is a good player..just that he was shyte last night..and rightly subbed... thankfully pardew does not seem to keep a player on the pitch who is not performing..and now has given him a public gesture to up his game.. nothing wrong with that...when lallana is on form he is a cracking player..but STILL too inconsistant really

until antonio scored..he looked like a novice who blagged his way into the team....after he scored..he looked very good..

why is it, nearly every time we play away against a league 1 team people moan about the other teams attendance.. has the penny not dropped yet that most teams in this league are poor and have very few fans..?

I just have re watched it on sky...a few times he was not penned in..one time in particular he had a one-on-one and fluffed the shot...then he had another shooting chance in the 2nd half and started to do famcy turns in the box for no reason and lost the ball... he is a decent player with lots of skill..but needs to up his consistance rate if he is going to stay with us up the leagues.. even pards said the only players he thinks right now can play at a higher level Fonte and Lambert

agree....I too think he is frustrating as he has real natural talent..but watching him again right now on sky, he made real poor choices last night. hopefully, the next leg, the pitch at SMS will be to his advantage

then, imo..he will have to be as good as Le Tissier, Joe Cole and Arshavin to be known as a prem player...

so, he does a job in the CCC...?
