of course it is not fine...but just because we went into admin and seemingly got fuk all help by the FL at the time..does not make that right either... every club should be given every minute possible to get out of the mess they are in and to pay their staff..even if it is for the short term...pompey will get bailed out by someone or will get punished..but it is right that they be given every chance to get THEMSELVES out of the mess they got into...who knows, they may well have found a lunatic to plough some cash in and use the club as a toy for the time being..

this is not a restaurant and the players would have clearly been consulted either way, for once (sadly in this case) a club is being given every chance to get themselves out of this mess for the short term to ensure not only the players but the back room staff etc have a job..using admin/winding up as a total last resort

I was away from last march till past the end of the season..so missed all the going into admin bollix for saints.. how did it go for us (I know we were a week too late).. what I mean, did we miss player wages etc....does pompeys situation look worse than what ours did etc..

dont know...but to say they should throw the book at them whilst we complained the FL never helped us..is a tad hypocritical.. everything possible should be done for pompey (sadly) as well as stockport..... I have no worries, they will be in admin by the end of the season

I wonder if the prem have a cut off point to carry over points deductions to the FL next season..?

they also have a duty to other clubs.... when I say help, I mean extend deadlines, help them behind the scene explore avenues..offer assistance etc... something that could be afforded to very other prem club

come on mate I want them gone more than most...but just be patient.. we hated the football league for seemingly NOT doing all WE thought they could to help...that is a fact the PL are seemingly trying to help one of its members as much as their powers allow and you get the huff.. maybe, the prem should be applauded for doing what the FL dont do...try and keep out the dreaded admin for as long as possible, whilst being fair to others...obviously a tough balance... they will go into admin..if they had sense for their long term future, they should take hit now with relegation and try and start again in the CCC....

I think we will have to agree to, well, not agree.. I think you cant be dimissive of a group of people not turning up who had the nerve to actually turn up to abuse returning troops who were marching through the local town..they would have known then that families of lost men from that regiment would have been there... for this...they alone should be shamed, and thankfully they have pretty much country wide... you dont need to bring the EDL/BNP into the point about islam4uk.... what they wanted to do was utterly disgusting..
