  1. Its a pretty much meaningless question as the quality isn't the same as last season. You're basically comparing apples and pears.
  2. Thought Hojbjerg showed his inexperience and immaturity today. Didn't have a bad game for large chunks; but seemed to lose his head after that c**t Mason gave a few dodgy decisions against hime. Started trying too much and was guilty of giving away th ball that led to the pen. Had been warned just a few mins earlier when Watmore dispossessed him in a very dangerous position and Sunderland should have capitalised. Will be a v.good player but there will quite a few growing pains along the way.
  3. Didnt hear that one. Where do you sit pal?
  4. Of course, they do - at least for the big routes. Gemmel's a f**king amateur. Look on the bright side: the financial hit won't be too much in the grand scheme of things and you got peace of mind by booking early.
  5. They've come back down - that's what's happened.
  6. Yeh, it's £58 out of London at the moment.
  7. Yep, looking forward to it. Tel Aviv is a proper Mediterranean city -and secular too, so there will be plenty to do on Shabbat (or even because it's Shabbat). Will look to stay in Jaffa if it isn't too pricey and getting around is convenient enough; otherwise stay near the beachfront (parts of Tel Aviv are pretty run down). Beersheba looks really interesting. Literally travelling into the middle of the desert, an area that is recognised as a world heritage site and was a WWI battleground. As you say, it needs some research.
  8. Fortunately, no it doesn't. Taxis are running as usual on Saturday, though they charge a weekend rate.
  9. If you're going to be in Tel Aviv Friday/Saturday, worth noting there will be no public transport because of Shabbat.
  10. Understood. Still a v.decent deal. Thinking of flying in on the Thursday (could be tight) and doing the Friday night in Tel Aviv.
  11. An utterly bizarre rant. Take some Imodium, pal - you chat so much shït.
  12. How much did you pay for your Israel flights?
  13. Can anyone clarify: is Hapoel Be'er Sheva v Saints 6pm UK time i.e. 8pm local time in Israel?
  14. "Oh James Ward Prowse, he scored a f**king great goal in the San Siro".
  15. And Jerusalem's not to be confused with Tel Aviv
  16. Hapoel is a generic term i.e. its the Hebrew for association. We're playing Hapoel Be'er Sheva, not Hapoel Tel Aviv.
  17. That's not where they play. They're based in Beersheba.
  18. groups k or l would be nice.
  19. Yep my flight to Copenhagen for last season's Europa fixture. I booked a few days after the draw was made and my flight was in line with normal seasonal prices. Is that example OK, pal?
  20. They may go up but they come back down pretty quickly. The best time to book is after the first wave. As long as you're not flying to a backwater, there's no need for anyone to get their knickers in a twist.
  21. I know what you mean pal - he was aiming for the corner flag.
