  1. Really really like Russell and Wilcox, seem humble, intelligent and honest Big fan of a backing away from the corporate bullshit we got previously, even Phil was impressive Obviously they need to back things up but a great start imo
  2. https://twitter.com/talksport/status/1691548192733646848?s=46&t=MqpubAzkQD51r3m_v775zw If true we get almost 50m ?
  3. Not sure Ive ever heard you say anything positive
  4. Ill admit I knkw fuck all about Zeqiri, and can’t find much either
  5. It’s basically a transfer, I can’t find the article but its an obligation in most instances, there is a small chance he’ll go back to Brentford but they’ve said they don’t expect him back and have already signed Flekken
  6. Just think of it as a transfer mate
  7. Arsenal do, the loan means the fee isn’t counted til next year basically
  8. Its a transfer in all intents and purposes, loan with option to buy which kicks their FFP issues down the road til next year effectively
  9. If you want a limited ball winner then Hojbjerg is fine, his stats from a purely destructive POV are fantastic.. its any technical ability he struggles with If I was Klopp Id look at Sangare (yes him) or Zubamendi
  10. https://twitter.com/fabrizioromano/status/1691344219493814272?s=46&t=MqpubAzkQD51r3m_v775zw good signing at this level, I like him, 8/10.. far from the finished article but a very good option
  11. He played in a double pivot for both Benfica and River Plate too.. even in an 8 he doesn’t tend to burst a gut to get forward, although he is ok at it, he played a bit in the 8 towards the end at Benfica but he is more naturally a 6/8 hybrid Either way.. he won’t play in the 10… I imagine it’ll be Caicedo/Enzo double pivot
  12. You called it all along 😂
  13. Oh shit I forgot These are my questions for the CoT pre fans forum boardroom dinner You peasants ask what you want
  14. Football doesn’t work like that unfortunately, but I agree, we should be leading the way… there or there abouts this year
  15. Enzo will start regardless and they’ll be mad to play him in the 10
  16. Poor tyler, imagine thinking you’re going to Chelsea and ending up at Boscome
  17. I think we’ll see Downes/Smallbone/Alcaraz and in the tough matches against more able midfields we’ll see Charles/Downes and one of Smallbone/Alcaraz Charles will, imo, cover DM and CB meaning we may only see 1 CB coming into the club
  18. When is the next groundbreaking light show ?
  19. Im not sure whether there is any that necessarily need asking, I feel we’re in a relatively good spot.. at a push; 1. Are the clubs finances safe despite relegation this year, and if so, at what point does it become a worry ? 2. Is the club concerned about lack of depth at CB and our consistency at being unable to defend crosses/set pieces 3. What systems are in place to ensure we don’t make the same mistakes in the transfer market, like in January.. i.e.. Bree/Onuachu were bought for a failing manager who was sacked shortly after 4. Can we get decent beer and serve it quicker
  20. Tbf I thought his question was a fair one, not sure why he gets so much stick really He’s a young guy that seems to go to most games
  21. That was Liverpools offer but RL wants to go to Chelsea so Liverpool withdrew… well.. actually they denied they even made contact 😂
  22. We’ve replaced Lavia with Charles JWP with Downes Willy with Lumley Im sure, based on certainly the former two, that we have adequate replacements in mind
  23. Buying clubs basically ensure there is a delay to the buy back coming in force to ensure if the player is a success then we can retain them for a couple of seasons, otherwise its just a glorified loan, to an extent I imagine that City would probably have pushed harder if they’d managed to shift Phillips but realistically they don’t have a spot for Lavia right now Coincidentally.. nor do Chelsea, but here we are
  24. Well… no I suppose not My point is that their negatives are highlighted because they play together, IIRC they’ve always been shite when they play together, and they make less mistakes next to a capable CB So I do think, with a good CB, we could see the best of either
