Basically this really, Lambert has been playing deep too, you can see how effective he is when you get the ball to him in the box by looking at last year and against Stoke, we seem to try so hard in the build up though, giving the oppo time to regroup but also sometimes I just think get it in there !! When J Rod came on he certainly gave us more movement up front, and Im not saying Lambert cant find those positions, he just doesnt seem to be this year.

5 chances, mainly from range if I remember rightly, we played very well against the Arse but in general I think we play around with it too much, Stoke was better as we got it into the box more FFS

I reckon we are more or less there already TBH a keeper we definately need and another wide man, CB deffo too but this could always be cover as Fonte and Yoshi are starting to look good. I have more concerns that we dont ever seem to carve out many chances.

Probably But he is definately the best option we have to balance the front four right now, and if you couldnt see his value yesterday and against Stoke then there really is no point discussing, you have made up your mind, and cannot see any positives at all. I have to say I agree with this, I think he will make a top top keeper but he isnt ready yet, and likely to make a few more clangers, it must be difficult though playing for a Brum team that is so short on confidence right now. We are a bit stuck really, as there are no real viable alternatives unless you break the bank, Friedel is the only one screaming at me. Robinson and Given must not be options as they havnt played in ages.

Inimagine he went for J Rod as he offers more running, Lambert gave them a battering all game but J Rod gives you legs. The two that surprised me though was Ramirez as he always looks like he could make something happen, he played well today, plays some good football, he will get used to the players around him eventually. And punch, he didnt have his best game, nothing really worked, id have kept Guly on and taken Punch off Other than that, more or less spot on, MS and yoshida immense, Cork strong, bit harsh on Boruc, 6 maybe but yes his kicking was abysmal.
