Lose to a last second goal away at a side that started the day in 4th position and look at this place. If that doesn't go in, then a draw is a good result there in my opinion. Fine margins. We're not going to dominate games like we have in the last two games, every game and you're going to have a drop off in performance levels every now and then, especially with three games in a week, but I'd rather it was against a good side than one at the bottom (Blackburn anyone?). We were also missing key players in CM and in Leo, this disrupts the harmony of a winning side. If Downes doesn't get booked against Leicester, then I doubt Romeu would be in the squad for example. Also saw a post saying to that was one of the worst performances of the season.. behave. We scored twice, under Still we rarely looked like scoring. Some posters have very short memories indeed.

Think back to Preston at home, lost 2-0 to make it 1 win in 12, my hope had absolutely faded and I genuinely believed it was a stay up mission. 4 games and 12 points later, Tonda has performed absolute miracles. To get a team completely bereft of any confidence, the same players who've had chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt" sung at them for the last two games, is utterly remarkable. He simply deserves the job. It's not everyone's ideal scenario, but it works. The players seem like they're full of energy, playing with smiles on their faces and the confidence levels are at polar opposites to the Preston game. I wonder whether we'll bring in someone with experience as his assistant, as it's a long, grueling season and he'll need support when things aren't going out way (unless we just win every game until the end of the season).

We did And he seemingly is, unless we lose the next three.

It's my coping mechanism. I've seen this play many times before 😂

Goal! Now the inevitable 2-1 loss.

People taking about a chance of the playoffs.. give over. This is a stay up mission and one that I think we'll fail at. We needed a bigger clear out in the summer than anyone could've imagined. We need to literally start from scratch again. Unfortunately I think that'll be in league 1.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tonda Eckert gets the job if we win the next two games (we won't). Very tricky decision to make for Spors, make the wrong one again and we're likely down, as per the hires of Jones and Juric. We need someone to stop the rot, but I fear it's settled in more than anyone could know. 4 wins in 51 league games.. how can you possibly turn that losing mentality around? We need to try and stutter along until January and clear as many bad eggs out as possible.

He's not getting sacked while we're 17th. He will likely be sacked if/when we're in or near the relegation zone. Another Spors F up after "the striker he must have" Downs and the Stephens contract.

Funny cause every other attack we try to cross it in, but a corner, no thanks.

We could quite easily "do a Luton" this season.

Let's just remember he's a Johannes Spors signing, that he "had to have" or however Dragan put it. That along with Stephens 3-year contract and possibly the recruitment of Will Still (time will tell), are potentially three blotches on his résumé.

Would be better off with my grandad up top and he died in 2006.

Darn it. Were never going to get our hands on the League Cup, are we?

I've tried to remain positive up until now, as he's had to deal with a huge turnover of players, many coming in late in the window, then the international break, but for me today was the first game with no excuses to grab hold of. To fail so miserably against a side you'd put money on finishing in the bottom half of the table, is more than worrying. As others have said, it looks like another SR "trying to be clever" appointment that hasn't paid off. I can't see a definite style of play, which is worrying after being in charge for three months. I think his lack of managerial experience is being reflected in the performances. This group of players should be more than capable of beating most teams in this league, if a capable manager was in charge.
