  1. LOL - probably not, but worth pointing out :-)
  2. Didn't he have a trial at the same time as Egil Ostenstad? We were supposed to sign both - cannot remember why Flo fell through but he definitely played in a trial match. EDIT: I think his club would not release him because they wanted to keep him for some European games
  3. Paul Allen did sign.......but he dislocated his shoulder in a pre-season friendly and never recovered.

    Tastes like bubblegum!!

There is a flaw to this plan.....I sometimes have to drive home afterwards. With the current beer supplier I could drink for the whole match and still be under the limit when I drive home.............(not that I do of course).

I don't think I care what it is in (within reason of course), as long as it tastes good ;-)
  7. I didn't actually witness anyone chanting "on the pitch" and then calling the people that did it w@nkers so I will have to take your word for it (and they were w@nkers - that is for sure). But that aside, if you want to find examples of why SFC fans are any more fickle than other fans, then this example is not very credible.......it sounds a bit juvenile - the sort of thing my 11 year old daughter would dream up to illustrate a point. I know that sounds insulting, which is why I was hoping you did it with your tongue planted in your cheek. FWIW I think every football club in the world has a high percentage of fickle fans in their midst.

Yes that would be acceptable too.....luvly
  9. I found it cringeworthy, but not for the same reason it seems. From what I remember, to most people with a brain, the chant was just meant as a wind-up aimed at the tannoy announcer's insistance that it there should be no pitch encroachment. The idiotic few who actually did it just showed that they didn't have the mental capacity to realise it was just meant as a wind-up.........or at least that was how I saw it ;-)
  10. I do hope that you are citing this event as an example of our "fickle fans" with your tongue firmly in your cheek. If not, you may have plunged your credibility into the depths ..... :-(

....but what if it was Fullers?? Ahhhh, London Pride anyone?
  12. Darius Vassell - oh, sorry - too recent
  13. Not wishing to take sides and all that, but didn't you miss the point a bit there?
  14. It is when we start talking about suing people for "liable" :-)
  15. Harlee Dean perhaps?
  16. If you want to think that you have proved me wrong and it makes you happy then I am very pleased for you. I don't happen to think you have. The point is that this forum has no importance in the real world at all, much less to the decision makers at SFC. It only has importance to the people who post on it on a regular basis....and those who get bored at work. Anyone who thinks it plays a role in the decision making process at SFC is deluded IMHO. Cortese and co would not give this forum any credit by responding to threads like this in an official capacity.....and that is where I came in I believe.
  17. I thought they were for people who are bored at work - no?
  18. Sorry - but I cannot make any sense of that post at all. Time to move on.....
  19. That is not an official response to something posted on here - it is a new thread providing some very useful information. Try harder.
  20. Pardon?
  21. Please show me anywhere that the football club have directly responded to something posted on this forum in an official capacity and I will stand corrected.
  22. So which part of "....responding in an official capacity to anything posted on it." wasn't clear to you?
  23. So what? I still don't think that "the club" (whoever that might be) would credit this forum with any relevance by responding in an official capacity to anything posted on it.
