Anyone else tried to renew online this morning. I get to the last screen and click "Buy" and I get an alert box up saying "1 validation error(s) occurred. Admissions: Customer must have a value" but all the fields on the screen have been completed??! I work in the software industry so I know how easy it is to create bugs - but you would have thought they would have tested this before today :mad:

The current squad is not good enough to make the play-offs IMHO - especially with a -10 start. We have to hope the new manager can get a decent defense in place so we can start getting a run of clean sheets. We need to be hard to beat and sneak a load of 1-0 wins, because we sure as hell won't be thrashing anyone.

My heart agrees with you, but my head says that it is better for it to be done now while there is a "clean sweep" underway than it would be to have to do it halfway through the season. I agree with all the positive sentiments about his character and professionalism, but I had a nagging feeling that he was not going to be the best long term solution. Having said that, in the short period between his contract as manager ending and the takeover being complete, we faced the prospect of a load of players wandering around the training field scratching their arses. We also had the small matter of a couple of friendlies to play. I was extremely relieved to hear that he had accepted a rolling contract to enable things to keep going and I cannot help feeling he has now been crapped on from a great height. Pretty ruthless in fact.

SSN just broadcast an interview that they did with Wotte 4 hours ago in which he stated that he had been told that the new management team were happy with him and his efforts. Sounds like they have just crapped on him from a great height. Ruthless or what??

Just watched him being interviewed. Said all the right things without giving too much away. Same as Oldknow really. Sounded Italian, as the name would suggest. Did say "acting" CEO, implying that it is temporary.
