Only when Labour are in power. It's part of the Socialist gravy train so they have a vested interest.

He's off to Bournemouth to do radio studies because after over a year he decided he didn't like the course.

I'm not going to bother. It needs people not to bother and for there to be empty seats in order to cause a furore over the restrictions. If it sells out the whole thing will be smugly proclaimed a resounding success.
-
It may well be 3000, but if only 2500 are sold I reckon they'll put some netting in or keep some seats vacant and pretend it's a sell out. Burrows won't be wanting any stories of unsold seats casting a shadow over the pinnacle of his career.
-
I was told 2500 by the ticket office a while back. Whether this is right or not I cannot say as for some reason it's a secret. I wonder who has instructed the secrecy and why?

He's dropping out now and wants to follow verbal into hospital radio. Saintandy666, our very own young Stephen Hawking, is the new kid on the block round here now.

No. If it was me running the show i'd have put VAT up to 25% and really cut back much harder on the public sector. I'd have been like Thatcher and not given a flying fook what anyone said, and would have dealt out a little short term pain for a pro-longed period of gain thereafter.
-
Exactly. That was a disgrace.

Of course they all flock here from the continent when times are hard. We give them rent free accomodation, money to send back home etc etc.

Recorded should be good enough.

Which is why I hope it doesn't sell out. Burrows will be relishing the accolades from this, but if it doesn't sell out it will raise questions. I feel absolutely cheated by the decision to ban posting out tickets and the last thing I want to see is him being all smug about his achievements after the game.
-
Even bigger lol at the mong who said I was taking the p/ss when I said it was more like 800. Note how the club haven't said how many have been sold and what the allocation is. Why is this? Is this another directive from the police in their efforts to stop people from going.
-
I hope we don't because then all attention will be drawn to PC burrows and his decisions. Not only has he made it a bubble game, he has stopped bus tickets being posted out so I can't go.
-
It was obvious we wouldn't. Anyone who thought we would sell out isn't very bright.

The reason we have kept our borrowing rates in this ball park is because the markets have seen that we are serious about cutting the deficit. We have a plan and we have a solid coalition that are acting in the national interest. With the Eurozone heading for the rocks we must stick to our plan. We are heading for another recession once Euroland implodes, but it could have been so much worse had Labour got back in and our national borrowing costs had spiraled. The next decade is looking bleak. I just hope the Euro collapses sooner rather than later because we can then start rebuilding. And on a personal level I am looking for the stock market to crash so I can reinvest. The FTSE 100 has a long way to drop yet! I'm so pleased I took the window of opportunity to divert into corporate bonds a couple of weeks ago when it had climbed up to 5700. I don't see it hitting these heights again for a long time.

It's got to happen with so much money riding on decisions being correct.

Just seen that on sky news.

The British Government can now borrow on cheaper terms than the Germans. It is the first time this has happened since a blip almost three years ago and, discounting that, for more than a decade. This morning, UK 10-year government debt interest rates dropped to 2.16% - their lowest level since 1898. The equivalent German loan had meanwhile increased to 2.21%. http://blogs.news.sky.com/therealeconomy/Post:f977b034-e789-42b6-b08b-f9b9e24f170f Good news and yet more vindication for the Conservatives getting to grips with Labour's debt mountain on our terms, rather than being dictated to by the markets.

Calm down granny.

Sadly though, without people buying papers the online wouldn't be there, and with dwindling sales the future looks bleak. The Guardian for example has made a loss for years, but recently the losses have become unsustainable even for their funding model.

Andy is 16 and the font of all knowledge. You should listen to Andy.

You should post more often sir.

Uh oh, you won't fit in round here with the sandal wearing guardian types.

But surely you could drop your views into a class. Use your imagination. I'm sure all the parents would really appreciate it.
