Yes it did, and i've edited my post to include the images to show that I am right.

I did say during the design thread that it looked sh/t and clearly the family didn't like their father portrayed like the face you see on a bargain bucket. If it had been less naff (i.e no image) I doubt there would have been a problem.

I respect the families wishes. That said a lot of fans payed a lot of money for that flag, and the Liebherrs are minted, so IMHO they should pay for a suitable replacement that can be used.

And don't forget a reporting team from PoliceOracle.com will be at the match aswell.

International policing observers are converging on a major English football derby to see a new tactic deployed by Hampshire Constabulary in action. Representatives from Denmark and Poland will be on hand to see the operation focusing on the pre-Christmas Portsmouth v Southampton match – when measures to ensure supporters are completely isolated from each other will be in place. http://www.policeoracle.com/news/Football-Op-Attracts-International-Attention_40068.html

It makes sense. Family owned businesses reinvest more and take out less and they treat their people better. It's a win win situation.

You can't blame the club though, this is PC Burrows master plan. I just cannot see the logic behind it because there is no logic. And what will add insult to injury is that he'll probably come out after the game and basically say what a brilliant job he's done. This is why I hope it doesn't sell out. If it doesn't sell out it will be really embarrassing and that will lead to a post mortem over such matters and PC Burrows claims of success will then be laughable. You've got to look to the future and if you don't want a repeat of this then it failing is the best scenario.

Are you one of those unwashed creatures that used to hand out Socialiast Worker leaflets in the city centre? I just used to look down my nose at them if they approached.
-
Nope. The TO is closed on the day.

Germanys big advantage is that most of their manufacturing is family owned, as oposed to being stock market listed. I work for a family owned business and when they are well run they are the best model there is fir success.
-
I can see little excuse for anyone who's local not going as the trip to the TO is no problem. I printed out the ballot form last night, filled it in, but i've just binned it because I just cannot be arsed to drive down to pick up a bus ticket (which would basically mean 6 hours on the road) and spend the money required to do it. A few years ago i'd have probably done it, but i'm now older and the thought of the hassle is too much. Oh well at least it's on the tv.

As you get older you gain experience.

You've finally met your match when it comes to knowing and doing everything.

Everyone thinks of the word mong when they read your name. Thorpe le mong.
-
It has nothing to do with that. I can't get down to get the bloody bus ticket. I've not missed a game there in recent times, but having to fork out for diesel and spend 6 hours on a round trip is too much to justify when there's no rational reason why they can't simply post the bus ticket out.
-
I do though, because I don't know any ST holders. My cousin isn't a st holder and don't know if he's even been to a home game this season (i haven't). I could ask him to driver in from Winch to get me a ticket, but it'd be a ******* cheek on my part.
-
They said that, but we have said nothing to confirm this. I fully expect "aditional segregation" to'be used to justify empty seats at the end of the stands.
-
Like I say, how will you know if it sells out? What is the allocation? How many tickets have been sold so far? I think that however many are sold it will be called a sellout so the police can claim a resounding success and the club can keep the money making travel arrangements/save on policing costs. Explain why else the allocation is such a secret.
-
I'd probably go if I knew a ST holder, but all my family down there aren't.

Just you wait until DJ Super is the biggest name in hospital radio.
