  1. Surely he must realise that by spouting off in the name of a non existant fans group against the club it's going to wind up Nicola Cortese. Not saying this is the reason btw, but clearly it would really annoy NC.

Ouch. It was prime for ramping and then was the time to get in and get out. As it goes i've taken a hit from SGZ, but in Q3 i expect planning consent and a tidy return.
  3. I haven't assumed this was the reason, only said that if this was the reason then Cortese did the right thing IMO. If I was Cortese and there was some nobody that represented nobody passing off his views as if they were the views of many fans i'd be hacked off. Especially if said views were against me or a decision i made/supported. Take the installment issue. Nick could rabble rouse and decieve people into thinking his personal views were the views of all his members and cause Cortese a lot of problems over and above the level of problems if nick had been giving a personal view. That isn't on and as chief executive NC has a duty of care to protect the club from such devious and potentially damaging behaviour.
  4. A lot of people cannot say what they really think due to the law.
  5. If he had anything about him he'd have realised that by going by this title it goes against the whole point of a supporters trust. It should be about democracy and giving the little people a voice, but what he has done is turned a democracy into a dictatorship. It really does beggar belief that he can happily do this. And he clearly does happily do it otherwise he'd have put the Echo straight and if they'd refused he would ceased speaking to them. For a few months after the Trust effectively folded I could have excused this, but not after this long. If Nicola took his stance because of this then I say good on him.
  6. Get real. Nick could quite easily have asked them not to give him this false title long ago. Anyone with an ounce of integrity would have seen to that. It is the same as Chorley bigging himself up with all that SISA b0ll0cks. I've got no issue with NI, RC, or PM giving their personal opinions like any other fan can, but when you get these people lording their views with false titles through non existent fans groups it's wrong.
  7. I'm biased of course, but it was one of the best performances i've seen against Paxman. I'm sure it will have boosted EDL support.
  8. You're right to an extent, but UAF are also encouraging millitant Islamists. UAF have advertised that they are organising a counter demo supported by Anjem choudary and his chums. These are the people that wave the placards about our soldiers and who burnt the poppy wreaths. They are are the new face of al-muhajiroun who i protested against years ago. Do some research and you'll see that the 7/7 attacks were carried out by members of al-muhajiroun. So why are UAF marching alongside ultra far right Muslims instead of being oposed to them?
  9. It makes it look like Nick is something special - a fans leader who speaks on behalf of his members. So when Nick gives his personal views anyone who isn't wise to the reality would assume Nick is saying what Saints Trust members want him to say. It's a fckin joke. He pulled this little trick when he was saying how we should all get behind Rupert Lowe when he came back. He is using a dead fans group to big up his ego and to make his views carry more weight than the views of Nick Illingsworth Chairman of ****all would. Seriously he's been doing this time and time again months and months after the Trust ceased to function as a democratic fans group. I bet in 10 years time he'll still be doing it just like Chorley and MacMillan still do all these years after Ian Branfoot.
  10. SAINTS Trust chairman Nick Illingsworth has been “discriminated against and victimised” by the club, the Independent Football Ombudsman has found. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8830210.Saints__victimised__lifelong_fan_Nick/ Even in this latest article he's using his title like he's been made a life peer of The Saints Trust.
  11. Maybe everything, maybe nothing. It just wound me up how he gave his personal opinions weight by using the title of a defunct organisation. It's the same as the RC or PM speaking on behalf of the SISA. Nick could have easily corrected the Echo - anyone else would have. If was Nicola Cortese i'd have ****ed off to have some nobody lording his views as a fans leader when he was nothing of the sort.
  12. It wasn't the fact he voiced concerns that's the issue, it's the fact he used the title "Saints Trust Chairman" implying he was speaking on behalf of his minions.
  13. This. She annoys the **** out of me.
  14. My view is that it should be banned in public places, especially banks and on public transport/at public transport terminals. What is the point of CCTV if muslim women (or anyone can hide in a burkha) can simply mask themselves?
  15. Because the EDL oppose the fascist millitant Muslims, whilst UAF support them.
  16. It's not irrelevent. UAF are being supported by the MDL andthe MAC led by Anjem Choudary. Anjem Choudary was a member of the now banned al-mahajiroun which had links to 7/7 and the MAC burnt the poppy wreath on remembrance Sunday. These groups are ultra far right, but UAF march alongside them.
  17. It must be so tough. No wonder teachers swan off the France for 4 weeks of me time every summer.
  18. It might help if your UAF lot stopped marching alongside Choudary and his cohorts.
  19. I think the term an aquired taste is more apt.
  20. Both are compatible with democracy.
  21. Western Christian values.
  22. None, but this is about rallying British people to demand that the government takes action.
  23. I'd outlaw sharia courts, i'd ban the burkha, and i'd lock up or deport those who abuse our soldiers and our values.
