Multiculturism has faild wow theres a shock. Still it's good to hear a politician say what i've said for a long a time.

That reminds me of the time me a few friends stumbled into a pub called the Atlantic Queen. It was of those moments when something didn't feel right and the penny dropped a few minutes later when you took in the surroundings - the condoms on the bar and the cabaret pictures on the wall.

Cameron Gets Tough On Muslim Extremists David Cameron has signalled a tougher Government stance towards groups which promote Islamist extremism. The Prime Minister said the doctrine of multi-culturalism has failed during a speech in which he called for "muscular liberalism" in defence of Western values. He blamed the radicalisation of Muslim youths and the phenomenon of home-grown terrorism on a "hands-off tolerance" from the authorities. Ministers should refuse to share platforms or engage with groups that peddle separatist ideology, he said. Such groups should also be denied access to public money and barred from spreading their message in universities and prisons, he argued. Mr Cameron made his comments in a speech to a security conference in the German city of Munich. "Frankly, we need a lot less of the passive tolerance of recent years and much more active, muscular liberalism," the Prime Minister said. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Politics/David-Cameron-Signals-Tougher-Stance-On-Islamic-Extremism-During-A-Speech-in-Munich-Germany/Article/201102115923432?lpos=Politics_News_Your_Way_Region_5&lid=NewsYourWay_ARTICLE_15923432_David_Cameron_Signals_Tougher_Stance_On_Islamic_Extremism_During_A_Speech_in_Munich%2C_Germany_ I think he was refering to the EDL.

How about Adam Lallana to the tune of Brown Girl In The Ring.

Not heard that sung for a few years. I thought it was "Arsenals always running, pompeys running too" though.

I think this thread has proved yet again how divisive these fans groups/fans leaders are. Most people are really happy with the general direction are the club are taking but surprise surprise up pop the super fans with their publicly played out agendas. -
I've never bought an offical club calendar, but up until last Christmas always bought the advent calendar. That said i've usually opened all the windows before Christmas day to get at the chocolates.

It's not a good situation i'll grant you that, but put yourself in Cotese's position and having a fan airing his peronal views about this that and the other in the guise of a fans leader and you'd be pretty narked about it. It's the same as Richard Chorley giving a sermon as leader of SISA. I just don't get what people like NI and RC get out of doing it. It's pathetic. -

Nick didn't give his disgruntled customers an explanation, therefore he's now experiencing what it feels like and moaning like **** about it. As for your other comment if you want to start getting personal then two can play at that game. -

If you couple the Silverspoons debacle and lack of a response to his customers with the way he lords it about as "Chairman of the Saints Trust" you start to build up picture of why Nicola Cortese would have been morally justified in taking the stance he did. I don't think the club owe nick an explanation given these things, and to give an explanation could potentially leave the club on dodgy ground in the same way that employers don't mention bad things on references. -

If Nick never bothered replying to the people he ripped off then i've got no sympathy for him over his season ticket. -

SISA today V The Saints Trust today - what's the difference? -

The answer is that it is a strong possibility. The cumulative effect on Nicks "opinions" using the title "Chairman of the Saints Trust" (which carries a lot more weight than just Nicks personal views) can be very influential and potentially damaging. Nicola Cortese was, imo, completely justified in taking the stance he did if he felt the same as i do about this. -
To be fair the BNP are finnished, but UKIP are there and they are going gain momentum again as people see that the Conservatives aren't the saviours some thought they might be. Likewise the EDL will continue growing as a movement for a younger demographic. What we're seeing is the right wing getting its act togther and speaking for a very large percentage of people. You only have to look to the European election results to see that deep down we are a Conservative country despite many working class people ignorantly voting Labour.

I've already explained why it could be linked and i'm not going to explain it again. -

It's not irrelevent and because of the very fact you are unable to justify his stance you have come out with this pathetic reply. What Nick is doing is exactly the same as the SISA lot have done for years. They puff their chests out and issue statements as fans leaders. Nick is doing exactly the same as them when all is said and done. And the fact you don't see what is so inherently wrong with this is disapointing. -

But it's not what he says, it's the fact he's saying what he's saying using a title that no longer has any mandate. -

In my opinion Yes, for two reasons.. 1. It wrong that he does it and it flies in the face of what the Trust should be i.e a democratic entity. 2. By using the title he can influence others who are unsuspecting of the truth by making them think Saints fans have influenced a given stance. I'm really surprised that you don't see what is so wrong about what he's doing. -

Personal opinions are very different to what Nick gives. He speaks as Chairman of the Saints Trust. You could do the same I suppose - American presidents are still refered to as Presidents after they've left office.
