  1. I've already given you an explanation. If you were really against fascism you'd be sympathetic the EDL's cause which is opposing the fascist behaviour of millitant islamists.
  2. If you're driving in and wish to stop outside of Peterborough in a nice village pub then get on the A47 at Wansford and turn off to Ailsworth and Castor (it's the old A47). These are two lovely thatched villages with 3 or 4 country pubs.
  3. I didn't say that gobby, what I said (or tried to say) was that in the past anyone with concerns was driven to the NF or the BNP because there was no moderate right wing party that was there for them. Now we have the UKIP at a party level and the EDL at a street level. So now you see there is the alternative that has for so long been absent. That is not to say that undesirables won't try to jump on the bandwagon, but so long as the UKIP and the EDL hierarchys do their upmost to stay sensible then there is no reason why these movements cannot fill the void. The EDL have a mission statment, make members sign a pledge of non violence/non racist behaviour etc, and get their own people to steward their demos - they are doing all they can to separate themselves from the the fascist rightwing.
  4. The problem was that only the BNP and the NF were there for people with genuine concerns to turn to. With mainstream politcs being so confined to the centre ground gone is the old right wing Conservative party in the same way that the old left wing Labour is gone. In have come career politicians (with no convictions other than trying to be all things to all people to win votes). Just look at the Labour Party now - where are the MP's that have come from it's core base i.e the Unions? Prescott and Johnson were the last of this breed and now all you've got is the Nottinghill geeks - Milliband and co. That is why the real left wingers turn to the Marxist UAF/Socialist workers party, and that is why real right wingers were driven towards the wholely unsuitable NF in the past and the BNP recently. But with the rise of the UKIP and the EDL there is a non extreme alternative for people that are right wing and pro British, but who are not nazi's.
  5. It's somebody who has the brains to realise that a right wing western christian democracy works, wheras a Socialist (Marxism without tanks) society drags everyone down.
  6. He could quite easily have told them not to drop the flunkery of the title "Chairman of the Saints Trust". http://www.langridge.co.uk/ST/ It hasn't existed for a long time, yet long after memberships expired he continued to use the title to give his personal views false weight.
  7. I read somewhere that most EDL members were UKIP supporters. This clearly shows they are not like the BNP or the far right, but moderate right wingers (or traditional working class Conservatives).
  8. 4-3 (to us of course)
  9. I'm winning so far. I feel sorry for all you lot in your rat infested socialist slums.
  10. He looked fed up because it didn't go as he'd planned. Lefties always get haughty and superious (if that's not a word it should be) when things don't go all their own way.
  11. Turkish has turned into NickG.
  12. I disagree. Of course there must be a explanation, but clearly the club don't want to give it. I think Nick using the title "Chairman of the Saints Trust" to add weight to his views is a good enough reason for the club taking their stance for example, but imo the club don't want to open themselves up to the possible consequences of being honest. Or maybe they see him as threat to the travel club given the overwhelming sucess of the silverspoons JPT party.
  13. I have agreed with some things nick has said, disagreed with other things (especially when he called for fans to get behind Rupert Lowe). I don't have a problem with Nick giving his personal views to the press, but I do have a problem when he is described as "Saints Trust Chairman Nick Illingsworth". The Trust has no members - it's just another SISA - yet Nick has stated that once a member joins he or she is an inactive member for life i.e he or she is a number - 978 numbers if memory serves me correctly. To this end I think the club have done the right thing because Illingsworth is conning people by using a title that implies he has a mandate. If NI drops the false title then of course he should be allowed back.
  14. Very good performance against Paxman last night. I thought the left wing BBC would make a fool of him like they did Griffin, but they didn't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZHkh_zChnc
  15. You need to be an admin to access the area you need.
  16. Are you watching Newsnight Verbal? You might learn something.
  17. ha ha, your street is almost as bad as my whole area.
  18. Are you living in Beirut?
  19. Not impressed with the performance (as it sounded on the radio) but we got the result and that's all that matters. I'm now sick of thinking we'll push on because we never do, but hopefully we'll scrape into 2nd come the end of the season. Nguesson was apparently our best player, so feel pleased for him.
  20. Of course they do. Anyone with access to the admin pages can do this in a few seconds. Even I could do it and i'm rubbish when it comes to technology.
  21. I got 4. 1 burglary. 1 vehicle crime. 2 other.
  22. It's really simple. In the short term turn off access for non registered members to the entire forum the next time we play - see if it works. Doing nothing is no longer an option because it's getting ridiculous. In the medium term fix the problem.
