In the medium term i'll probably get ps3 (s it's clearly the best option from what has been recomended) but for now i'm gonna try and get it through the x box. For approaching £200. I'd rather get it with the x box i've got or spend £100 on freesat and the wirelsss thing.

Found this for an X Box 360 (which i own). I'm rubbish at all this technical stuff but i've managed the download bit (i think) and now it's getting complicated : Not sure if you peeps are aware that it is possible to watch IPlayer content using the 360's media capabilities. It's quite simple: - Download the BBC IPlayer Download manager http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/BBC-iPlayer_Setup.exe - Select the programme and download - Go to the settings in the download manager and copy the location that the downloads are stored, something like: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Videos\My Deliveries\iplayer_live - Go to WMP and Add to Library > Add - Paste above location which should be added - Go to videos on 360 and the iplayer_live should show and will contain your downloaded videos, all in WMV format You may already know this but I didn't so just sharing.

Done some research and i'm thinking a freesat hd box wirelessly linked with two home plug adaptors. From what I can glean this should work, but some advice would be appreciated before I splash out.

I can undestand your frustration. I don't go very often but when I do go it costs about £100. Over a season it all adds up and because of this expense we've got a right to complain as we are customers. Undoubtedly you go to a lot more games than me so you're fully entitled to complain a lot more than most fans who are just whingeing cocks that only ever listen to games on the radio.
