  1. So when you said "Labour is having a swipe at all those people who think 'celebs' add gravitas to a campaign" it was hypocrisy on behalf of the Labour Party.
  2. I see, so it was OK when Labour did it, but it's not OK now they can't get anyone.
  3. We were discussing parties and leaders parading themselves with celebrities. So are you saying that because Labour did it 13 years ago that didn't count, or are you just a tad bitter the best your lot can do is an overweight Elvis impersonator?
  4. What's that got to do with the price of fish?
  5. I want them to stay up. They're not our rivals, just a little club I like to see doing well.
  6. Do you believe it makes a difference?
  7. And you lot suffer from "we are a big club syndrome" The bigger they are the harder they fall. You will find league 1 extremely difficult to get out of next season. Read more: http://www.bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=25668&start=1#ixzz0m816BsIM I'm sure they'll find getting out of League 1 a doddle with it being 4 up 4 down.
  8. When far right Islamist extremists planned to march on Wooton Bassett, and a counter demo was proposed by those outraged by the prospect, UAF planned to demonstrate against those protesting against the Islamist extremists. That pretty much sums up Left.
  9. Patriotism is a dirty politically incorrect word to the Lefties. Only under a Conservative government is pride in our country encoraged. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxmQ8eo-hfM
  10. I'd have loved to have seen paxman interview Margaret Thatcher. It's moments like these that demonstrate why Maggie and Churchill were the greatest leaders of the 20th century.
  11. It's like F1 without the cars. ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.
  12. The clue is in the name under the thread. But did you like what I did there?
  13. That is unless the lady in question is a certain Peter Mandelson. It looks like the penny has just dropped for the reptile Mandelson. This lastest coment from him is a clear u-turn in the Labour strategy - remember Browns blatent attempt to cosy up to Nick Clegg in the first election debate? The Tories have stolen a march on Mandelson and Labour with their consistent warnings of a Lib-Lab hung alliance. Only now, with the latest polls pointing to Mandelsons hope of Labour clinging to power looking slimmer, have Labour changed tack to try to win back it's vote. A desperate last throw of the dice from Old Labour. Lord Mandelson acknowledged that some former Labour voters were considering 'looking elsewhere', but warned them that a vote for the Lib Dems risked a Conservative government. 'You might start flirting with Nick Clegg, but that way you will end up marrying David Cameron,' he told the Sunday Mirror.
  14. It would also seem the British people do not want a hung a parliament so it would seem the Tory message is getting out.
  15. The latest sample of polls shows exactly what I predicted with the Tory vote recovering well from the first debate set back. We're still in hung parliament territory if you go with the 5-6 point Tory lead and extrapolate these figures accross all constituencies, but as we all know the marginals will be the key constituencies and the dilution of the Labour vote will be greater than any Tory dilution. Just look to the press and the Guardian/Mirror are not backing their party, but following the Brown/Mandelson line of sucking up to the Liberals - this will prove costly, on the other hand the tory press (including The Sun - read by the riff raff) are staunchly backing their man. It's going to be close but the campaign to discredit and highlight the loony policies of Nick Clegg is now full steam ahead and the gap between the Tories and the Lib-Lab alliance will widen between now and polling day. http://www.ukpollingreport.co.uk/blog/
  16. Me too, that's why i read the Daily Express.
  17. Will anyone even bother tuning in when Paxman interviews the dour Mr Brown?
  18. I payed my £20 and joined a few days ago. I think i'm turning into a lefty.
  19. Yeah everyone always wanted Davis to lose back then, but as he's got older and has been on the commentry/panels he's grown on me. Seeing him take an eternity to take a shot and playing filth whenever possible is actually quite amusing now.
  20. Don't give me that. Do you remember 1997? The fact of the matter is that nobody famous wants to associate themselves with Brown or Labour.
  21. ha ha ha, Labour are a laughing stock under Brown. If only they'd kept Tony Blair they'd still be in government come may 7th in my opinion.
  22. stocport 0 hudds 5, come on stockport you can still do it.
  23. And how do we reach 77, or 78 points when the most we can get is 76?
  24. swindon 1-1 now
