Both are puppets in my view. Although i accept Darling might be alright, but under Brown anyone is rendered useless.
-
Right this isn't me being anti Labour and anti Brown (although i can't stand either entity) but Brown couldn't work in a team full stop. Clarke and Cable could get on together. Oooops, aren't we forgetting Darling is the chancellor, or are we simply accepting the fact he's a puppet?
-
And the section in the Labour Manifesto about education.
-
Brown is the oracle, he'd really love VC giving him suggestions. Nah that'd never work out. Osbourne is a lightweight, but he's got ken clarke to keep him on the sraight and narrow.
-
Well i won't be voting for the English democrat for two reasons: 1) I believe in the Union. 2) They spelt realise with a "z".
-
Fair point and that's another reason why the Liberals policy on income tax is bonkers. They're going to give back something like £17 billion, but only £1bn of that would go to the poorest and the dipstick MP that was trying to sell the policy then tried to wriggle out of it by saying something like the richest people fly more so theyll get the money back on air fares taxation. This is how bonkers Liberal policies are.
-
Are we allowed to use that saying nowadays?
-
What tax would you raise. Me i'd put VAT up to 25%.

Top Gun i think you're barking up the wrong tree.. http://www.voteenglish.org/

OK, i'll admit that i didn't realise the English Demcrats are the EDL, are you sure about this?
-
Well i may switch to UKIP as i'm not keen on Nick Griffin. What are the English Democrats like?

Immigration is an issue that is out of control. Just look at the election leaders debate graph and when Brown talks about immigration his graph hit's the lowest point in the whole debate. It's a big big issue in this country to many many people, but the Labour and Liberal party don't see it.
-
There's no contradiction. I want more right wing policies on immigration - the BNP are the vote that sends this message most clearly to the Tories.
-
It's just been on the news asking how Labour and Tory voters (that are thinking of switching) will react to the Liberals going with the party they, the voter, least likes. I really think you're the ones jumping the gun and counting your chickens too soon. In places like Eastleigh and even Winchester (where a big swing would be needed) i'll be very interested in seeing the election results because a vote for the Liberals will mean a vote for Gordon Brown unless Clegg comes clean and clarifies his position.
-
Exactly and all the polls show that this policy is dead against the popular view in this country. That's why it's completely mad how anyone could switch and vote for them. It simply illustrates how thick so many people in this country are.
-
Maybe, probably, who knows - personally I don't care. At least I vote for what I believe in. It's those who can switch between Conservative and the Liberals that are the fools. Politics is about principles and to switch from the left to the right and vice versa is bonkers.
-
If you live in a safe seat voting means nothing. If I lived in a marginal i'd vote Tory obviously, but as I don't I choose to use my pointless vote as a protest vote. The more protest votes the BNP get the more chance the Conservatives will move to the right. Of course I could vote UKIP but the BNP make the point better.

I agree with Free Trade. Anyone would think you're trying to convert me.

You two should be on stage as a double act.

Must be a reference to this forum.

Not seen one of those. Ours are either blank vote for change vote conservative or pics of the MP (minus the head).
-
To be fair he has a point though. Why should we give aid to other countries when we could spend the money here?
-
It's front page news in the local paper about someone tipping black paint on the Tory signs. There aren't any Liberal or Labour sings though for me to strike back on.
-
I vote on national issues in general elections.

Fine, it was the bit i've bolded that was the reason i put the article up for, as you mentioned about a shortlist being imposed on your area.
