  1. What do you do Wes?
  2. I like all of England, but I make an exception for Scousers.
  3. Well that's shut Wes up for the day.
  4. No, I just don't like them. The whole blame culture up there grates with me. Instead of getting on with it they wallow in self pity.
  5. Pap I can understand your defence of them given that you've bred with one, but they haven't picked their reputation for no reason. They have earnt it!
  6. Boris summed them up perfectly: people in Liverpool "cannot accept that they might have made any contribution to their misfortunes, but seek rather to blame someone else for it, thereby deepening their sense of shared tribal grievance about the rest of society".
  7. I've yet to meet a scouser without a chip on their shoulder.

Matlock might be a good place to stay, lots of pubs, shops and cafes.
  10. TBH the French result wasn't a shock (it'd been factored in), and the Greek result wasn't a shock either. The next storm is brewing though. Greece is back in the spotlight and the NAZI's and the NO austerity party polled in similar numbers to the old main parties. There will either be a coalition formed or probably another election and if an anti austerity party gets in then they'll leave the Euro and then the whole thing starts unravelling. We are now entering the end game and I welcome it. The break up of the Euro is the way forward. These weak economies need to devalue. It is the only solution.
  11. Interestingly the CAC and DAX are up slightly, but it'll be an interesting next few months that's for sure, especially if the no austerity parties in Greece form part of a coalition.
  12. It's been inevitable since it's inception. Greece is on the verge and then it's domino alley time.
  13. No it isn't. Not everyone is a scum republican, some of us are proud to be loyal subjects.
  14. Liverpool has always been an IRA club.
  15. That seems about right.
  16. If we go back down then the pricing strategy is adjusted accordingly. The point is that the club are now in a strong demand/supply position and they can pretty much do what they want. If you don't like it - tough. Family stand prices have been subsidised by everyone else too much recently so I think we need to see a rebalancing otherwise there will be a situation where standard adult season tickets become too high.
  17. There's no room for sentiment in this business. You like it or lump it. If we're in the Premier League and you don't like it someone else will take your seats off your hands.
  18. Just think of all those big champions leagues games in the future. Live the dream, the future is bright, the future is red and white.
  19. Such is the feel good factor a Conservative government brings.
  20. And for new applicants probably another 50 quid on each
  21. I think I payed about 544 (rings a bell) in 2004/5. Block 41.
  22. They are compared to most places. That said the flood of eastern europeans will have undoubtedly depressed them for the indiginous population.
