I'm a big believer that compatitbility is dictated by the stars. My mum and dad are Scorpio and Cancer and were rock solid, wheras i'm a Leo and my ex was a Taurus and the relationship followed the pattern the stars said it would. A larger away following means more support for the team. It's reasonable to assume that more support will equate to more points being picked up on the road. Therefore the more fans we take the more money the club can make in terms of our final league placing.

We're hardly Manchester United! The FACT is that writing to the club, putting said letter in an envelope, putting a stamp on the envelope, walking to a post box and posting it IS A PAIN IN THE ARSE. Just to pre-reister an interest in a ticket that you may or may not get. What it will mean in the future is that we will take smaller allocations at away games if the ticket office base the allocation they take on this. Many many people cannot be bothered with this crackpot scheme - just look at Exeter away this season!

When we get back to the Premier League there will be guarenteed sales on away tickets but if Lukers "baby" (pre-registration) is trotted out you all know what's going to happen. Given our improved away following we should be taking more to away games than ever before, but you can bet your bottom dollar that our ticket office will **** that up.

The ticket office staff aren't the problem. The problem is the management decisions and it's going to get worse. The better Saints do the more we'll have to jump through hoops to get tickets. I had hoped that the bonkers idea of pre-registering interest in tickets was a thing of the past, but No, it was trotted out again for Exeter away. The result was unsold tickets out of a tiny allocation. When we last played Pompey at Fratton Park we nearly didn't sell our allocation because of it! Having to write to the club to say you're interested in a ticket is completely idiotic.

It's good that Greyhound are offering a service to compete against the rip off prices of the Travel Club.

It does seem that a decision has been made to start hiking prices. I'd like to know if this is a decision from the top, or a decision from David Luker. Price rises coupled with spaggy ticket selling methods (pre-registration, multiple purchase windows etc) could well put a lot of fans off.

Lowe has his fingers in other pies. He couldn't risk being banned from being a company director.
