  1. You weren't even born at the time.
  2. They won't be they next season. (except in the past tense)
  3. Then stop moaning child.
  4. Class and breeding. Born to be superior is what we are.
  5. Who the f/ck is laughing now.
  6. Not worried about other games. This is all about us now. I'd take a point today.
  7. If you are in a company pension scheme they may offer various AVC options. You can invest any amount through your companies pay roll and you'll receive 20% back from the tax man. Upon retirement you can currently take 25% of your lifetime allowance (pension + avc contributions) as a tax free lump sum. This would be a prudent move and one that you will benefit from when you retire.
  8. Ungrateful youth.
  9. 3D big screens. We need 3D big screens. Obviously there would need to be a 3D glasses tax. Needless to say any self respecting fan would only be seen in Saints Official 3D glasses.
  10. Talking of Sunderland the difference between North East and the South is that the NE is traditionally more working class and therefore there are proportionately more football fans. However the game has changed now and it's continuing to change. I noticed four things about our fans at P'boro which were different to when I started following Saints 1. There are more business men, 2. There are more weirdos in fancy dress, 3. There are more women, 4. There are a few non white fans. Given our wealthy catchment area there is no doubt that that we could expand/relocate and increase out average gates provided the product is good.
  11. The difficult I do at once. The impossible takes a bit longer. Jordan Sibley - Southampton FC club spokesman.
  12. The bottom line is that if we want to re-establish ourselves in the Premiership and make it sustainable we need to grow. St Marys is a hindrance to growth IMO. We need to build for the future out of town and tap into the region. Personally i'd like see some ambition and for us to build big at around 45K. This would set us up for a generation. All Pompey did was squander money (that they didnt have) on players and they have nothing to show for their good times.

  14. Spain is on a knife edge at the minute. Stock markets are too high IMO relative to this looming storm. Your best bet IMO is wealth preservation. Bide your time and when the markets nose dive again buy quality through a shares ISA. If you buy now you could quite easily lose a lot of money. If you do want to take a risk corporate bonds are less risky than equities.
  15. Are you male or female?
  16. I do think we could add a few thousand to gates by moving out of town. 40-45K in the Premier League wouldn't be too big for us for the big games if we were doing well. There's a lot of money in the region and if there is a product that they want they will come.
  17. It makes perfect sense to me. Empty seats means easily getting a ticket and a disincentive to hike prices. For a fans point of view expansion is very good news.
  18. That is the way to go. St Marys for all the good points i.e close to pubs, is a nightmare for traffic after the game. Saints have huge numbers of fans from outside the city and potentially a lot more fans that we could get through the turnstiles if the stadium was easily accesible from the motorway.
  19. I would quite like it built in Winchester.
  20. Wasn't Cortese talking of relocation at one point. At the end of the day SMS is a tin pot ground that wouldn't be missed.
  21. The CPS are useless. I was on a Jury in a case and we were seated ready to go and CPS then dropped the case before it started. They must've spent thousands right up to that point.
  22. Just goes to show what a good (expensive) barrister can do.
