  1. I find the "Big Bang" start of the Universe difficult to understand.I cannot understand how an explosion could create something from nothing, Also what caused this explosion of nothing ? I again find it difficult to understand how so much stuff could be created from nothing bearing in mind that there are billions of Galaxys how could they just appear from nothing ? Finally if they were created from a Big Bang what created the creator of this Bang ?
  2. Very upsetting if they are pictures of "old bar girls" 18 to 21 year olds would be ok though
  3. Emergency services were geared up for a major incident in West Auckland last night. Police contacted the fire service around 9.40pm, after receiving a call from someone saying a room was being gassed at a Hobsonville Rd address in Waitakere. Police thought the incident may have been related to a burglary and several officers attended the scene. Fire service spokesman Mau Barbara says they sent three appliances, a hazardous substance unit and around 12 firemen. He says they went in with a gas detector and discovered . . . . . . . . . . a rotten garlic sausage in a microwave in the bedroom :D

  12. When you get to my age you will look back in time and see plenty of misery that has been caused by politicians who know best what is correct for the peasants
  13. I really hope that you are correct but who knows what will happen in a few years time. Once ideas like these appear in print the ball has allready been set in motion. I distrust ALL politicians and as James Bond said "Never say never"
  14. of these things are really playing strange games http://www.nwrage.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=8&page=1 Just one example Frog Potato A chemical that South American frogs excrete from their skin could protect potatoes and other crops from a range of diseases, according to biotechnologists in Canada. Researchers at the University of Victoria inserted a modified frog gene into potato plants to make them produce the chemical. The genetically modified (GM) potatoes showed resistance to infection by a broad range of disease-causing fungi and bacteria, including those responsible for diseases such as dry rot, late blight and pink rot. Different species of frog produce different sets of chemicals, including some called dermaseptins, from their skin depending on the environmentthey inhabit. The chemicals help protect frogs from bacteria and other 'pathogens'.

  16. John Mac will "win" as according to Rolling Stone magazine the fix is allready in place. http://www.gregpalast.com/rolling-stone-its-already-stolen/#more-2118 While Obama dreams of riding to the White House on a wave of new voters, more then 2.7 million have had their registrations REJECTED under new procedures signed into law by George Bush. Kennedy, a voting rights lawyer, charges this is a resurgence of 'Jim Crow' tactics to wrongly block Black and Hispanic voters. - A fired US prosecutor levels new charges - accusing leaders of his own party, Republicans, with criminal acts in an attempt to block legal voters as "fraudulent." - Digging through government records, the Kennedy-Palast team discovered that, in 2004, a GOP scheme called "caging” ultimately took away the rights of 1.1 million voters. The Rolling Stone duo predict that, this November 4, it will be far worse.

  21. Thinking back quite a few years ago I realise how lucky I was not to have been caught by the morning after thing. I was so so stupid a few times. Over here DD is hated but with weak laws such as in the article below I do despair at times From the NZ Govt Land Transport website:- Drink-driving is considered a serious offence and carries tough penalties, especially for repeat offenders. Third and subsequent offenders face maximum fines of $6,000, prison terms of up to two years, and a one year minimum disqualification from driving. If you cause injury or death while drink-driving, you can be fined up to $10,000 for driving carelessly while under the influence (no breath or blood test needed); and up to $20,000 where a breath or blood-alcohol test shows you were over the limit. Detained at home for repeat drunk-driving 05.02.2008 COURT DIGEST A WESTERN Bay man caught driving drunk twice in three months, and who already had three prior convictions for drink driving and three for refusing to give blood, will be imprisoned in his own home for nine months. Brian Rikirangi, 47, who earlier pleaded guilty to two charges of driving with an excess breath alcohol, one charge each of driving while forbidden and giving police false details and breach of bail, was sentenced in Tauranga District Court yesterday. Judge Christopher Harding told Rikirangi that he was teetering on the edge of a prison sentence. Rikirangi was disqualified from driving for two years and is subject to a raft of special release conditions for six months after his home detention ends, including him attending drug and alcohol counselling.

Marriage is one of them sleeping on a sofa. Love is talking about having children. Marriage is talking about getting away from children. Love is going to bed early. Marriage is going to sleep early. Love is losing your appetite. Marriage is losing your figure. Love is sweet nothing in the ear. Marriage is sweet nothing in the bank. Tv has no place in love. Marriage is a fight for remote control. Love is 1 drink and 2 straws. Marriage is "Don't you think you've had enough!". Conclusion: "Love is blind, Marriage is an eye opener!" :smt075
