  1. When I went to all of the schools I attended I had to walk as we didn't have a car and no suitable buses. Pinegrove Rd to Sholing infants and then juniors. Secondary school was Woolston Sec Mixed in Portsmouth Road. Oh yes and I always came home for lunch and then walked back for the afternoon shift.
  2. ^This^ But I think another reason for all these delays and postponements is to make sure they keep going until after I peg out so I won't have the pleasure of seeing the final outcome.
  3. What I would enjoy ( But it won't happen ) is:- Judge, Have you reached an agreement people? Answer, No sorry judge not yet. Judge, Ok Mr Birch you had better liquidate them this afternoon, Next case please.
  4. I could get a thread instantly deleted and get myself banned at the same time just by posting one word. It's ok though mods and admins I ain't gonna do that - sorry to disappoint anyone.
  5. Ok you have admitted to these minor crimes for which you should only get 6 months inside BUT what major crime are you trying to divert peoples attention from??? Just send a PM as don't forget a problem shared is a problem halved.
  6. No I don't mean an old person on TV but this:- A long-known star in the relative proximity to the Solar System is the oldest among the billions humanity has studied. Formed shortly after the Big Bang, it’s now at least astounding 13.2 billion years old. Bond and his team calculated that the star is 13.9 billion years old. This actually places it beyond the time that the universe exists. The current estimate is that the Big Bang happened some 13.77 billion years ago. This is explained by an experimental error, which may be as large as 700 million years. So the star is at least 13.2 billion years old and may be several hundred million years older than that. http://rt.com/news/oldest-star-universe-discovery-889/ .
  7. Oh yes he does -it is written somewhere in the TSW rules and he will get infracted if he doesn't.
  8. Ah that must be why he gave Steve Clot a job then - he will be the official spokesman standing in for saggy chops in interviews.
  9. That is a spoof twitter account - it's not the real Neil Allen.
  10. Perhaps the news that TSW "appy" posted about how Tesco have bought some of the land will be released in Court? Condolences re your cat Dr on call.
  11. Not a very good look Appy talking to Blackburn is it seeing as he has only been at Blackpool a very short time. Surely Blackpool must feel insulted that he even wanted to talk to another club? What does that say about his potential loyalty about staying at Blackburn - IF he gets that job. I also notice that Blackburn only want someone who will be happy with a short contract. I wonder what will the team at Blackpool will think IF he stays - can't see them playing for him now. His reputation must be looking a bit tarnished now - perhaps he should have stayed at pimpey to build up his sympathy store and waited for them to disappear and then moved.
  12. Perhaps they want to make even bigger losses that they can claim Tax back on? As others have said I bet Blackpool cannot believe their luck but are playing it cool so that Blackburn don't realise that their hands are about to be snatched off
  13. Look for years now and under so called different Govts the UK has always done what the US tells them to do. Can't see that stopping now and I strongly suspect either a referendum won't be held for some reason or other and if it is the "result" will be a narrow victory to stay in. Remember Dr Kelly if you think the UK establishment will really let the UK plebs decide against what the establishment want.
  14. In a piece on the side of that article. "Household Elecetrical Extensive range of home electrical products and accessories" They really don't learn to spell words down there do they.

  16. The phew would refuse to accept that concept as it is against everything that then stand for - plus it would be legal and not rip anyone off. .
  17. 19. My wife declines offers to start work at 06.45 but on the other hand she quite happily does extra night shifts when the company is stuck. She also works from 14.45 to 23.15 shifts without complaining.

  21. Hey just thought - they can't go yet as I haven't quite got to 500 posts in this thread yet. Please wait a few more weeks.
  22. Doubt they will be as smaller L1 clubs will surely snap up these big players being released by a massive massive club? Lets face it if Man Utd released some of their big players other PL clubs would be after them pretty quick as well.
  23. I wonder if any sort of fish will be on the menu?
  24. In the old days we used to go to Malta in Feb and it was quite warm especially when compared with the temp in England. Another plus point then, the 1980s, was that the locals still liked the English but of course that might have changed.
