We'll win this by more than 2 goals.
-
Draw a fair result.
-
Villa clearly a far bigger club than us. As if Emery would have even considered us for a split second. You can't hold Rasmus up against a wall for the failure to appoint him.
-
So we've bettered our form at the time of going into this set of fixtures. Rather than 11/15, we've 13/15. We have this lot still to go. Watford could be tricky. Watford v Southampton Coventry City v Southampton Southampton v Blackburn Rovers Queens Park Rangers v Southampton Southampton v Swansea City Southampton v Plymouth Argyle I said I'd be disappointed with anything less than a 45 point total after the full 11 games. Well, only 8 points to go to get 45! Two wins two draws. I'd now be disappointed with that!

Reckon we can turn them over.

I've a very strange feeling. I think I may well be losing the plot, but... ... I think we're going to win this by more than three goals. Let's try this one again.

Let's sell that out then
-
I'd wager that this is entirely the case.
-
I mean, I'd have attitude if I thought I was any good and got subbed less than 10 mins into the second half. Not sure sitting him on the bench will help in any way.
-
Swap Kamaldeen for Stewart and Smallbone for Charles and I reckon you've picked as Martin will.
-
So, wait... the only person with some fault is Edozie? Seems like rotten luck in the end, then. We had got lucky earlier so it all evens out I guess.
-
The thing is, aren't most teams going to set up with a defensive mindset against us this season? If breaking teams down is something we struggle with and will continue to struggle with, then we either need to come up with solutions quick or just accept mediocrity this season.
-
Our idea of possession control makes sense, but we need to mix it up with more direct through balls and pacey runs every now and again. It's too predictable sometimes and allows teams to get men back, and then conversely it allows teams to counter attack us with pace down the flanks. Their goal was a bit naff, but we'd had plenty of warnings. Their free header, for example, which should have been a goal.
-
Baffling, isn't it. Our attacking players should be more than enough to get over 2 goals against the likes of Huddersfield, Rotherham, Stoke.
-
That's a shame. It was coming, we've been pretty poor this second half and Huddersfield have upped the tempo, pressing and desire.
-
Still gutted he left. Can't say I'm proud of him, as that's like saying you're proud of your ex-wife who's now shagging someone richer and more successful than you.
-
Even the boring Baggies fans finding that amusing. Love it.
-
2-0 defeat at home to Charlton. They leapfrog Saints. Looked comfortable for the visitors if I'm honest.
-
Agreed. How far have we come? Can we still be taken apart by teams like Preston (thinking of the Potts goal), Norwich and Sunderland? Or have we tightened things up? Without Bednarek it'll be hard to assess fairly.
-
As we know Prowsey isn't the same player as those two. Certainly not a defensive midfielder ala Phillips.
-
Sounds like a fucking tough game. Do we have the bottle? The shithousery? The creativity to unlock a brick shithouse of a defence? Not sure.
-
How did you get away from 30 odd adults? Were you just a bit more pacey?
