Android just said on solent " out of 157 million votes cast only 2 million votes against. 157 million votes? I thought the debt was 138.6 million?
-
The club cant be liquidated and pay the CVA over 5 years
-
Thats better! (100 / (138.6 - 14)) * 34.2 = 27.4478331 27% of CVA
-
check my sums?? (100 / 138.6) * 34.2 = 24.6753247 tax man 24.6% of cva?
-
Lend me a grand, Ill give you £40 this year and If I dont go bust £40 the next 4 years You would tell me to go jump!
-
20% over 5 years is 4 % a year!
-
radio solent news, vote has taken place on CVA
-
So do we see a new revised creditors list?
-
Peters builders have just submitted a new invoice for fixtures and fittings an Mansion Storrie?
-
My understanding is that value will be proposed, ie 20p in the £1, a 75% vote supporting a CVA is needed today to move towards a vote in 28 days time where 50% is required. the tax man is 18% of the objectors. Where will the other objectors come from? When it comes to money you need people who would rather write off money than let them get away with it.

http://www.tribalfootball.com/are-you-mad-brown-miss-portsmouth-fa-cup-final-birth-child-819981 That is one good excuse for not being part of the biggest cheating con in sport

Well it woulnt be Value Added tax would it!
-
one set of figures had out standing unpaid bills on that date and the other had all unpaid bills and debts including the future installments due.
-
But this rule has encouraged football clubs to act more wrecklessly. To buy players they cant afford, the sellers have sold knowing they will be paid first on huge three installment plans, before St Johns and the schools who hired them training facilities. Would they have extended them this Mickey Mouse credit without that rule? Is/should football realy be a special case? Should that extend to players, agents, etc
-
The football authorities argued that footbal clubs are a community of businesses, however we can see that much of the money is flowing to individuals and agents and image rights. Pompeys statment of outstanding debts may be the proof that HMRC needed
-
They understood the economics They just couldnt afford to drop from the prem. They had so many outstanding payments on players they had sold on they had to gamble on buying more and more players they couldnt afford. They continued gambling again and again, However they didnt win on the pitch as they expected, the PL stopped them buying more players and the foundations started to crumble. maybe the management shouldnt go to gaol, maybe they should join gamblers anon and go into rehab!

I listened to the hour on Quay radio. Great stuff. The questions about charity money raised on the pitch and cashed into pompey coffers never paid over and then trapped as the bank accounts were frozen. Very humbled. The question about pompys official guests at the FA cup final carefully avoiding the name Storrie. The season ticket prices "we assessed how much the fans can afford (£300) and how much we can sell them for going forward into the championship £400 and plonked for a reduced price £399. And it will be different in the championship. In the pl we would be up against huge teams we knew we would lose to but in the championship we will win every game"(slight mis quote but that was the message) and -17 points is the worst senario we will construct a cva and the creditor must accept it or nothing (well the might accept it , well possibly, a write down, a bloody big write down, but the probobly will accept it. PLS) and the PL and FA told us not to bother applying for an European place but we are going to apply anyway (failed to mention they have no accounts or an accadamy) did we mention how sorry and ashamed and humbled by the charity fiasco. please support pompey. Goodnight.

Does anyone have a link to the leeds ruling? I would like to read the judges reasoning
-
The players and the management of PFC have a duty to reballance the unfair football debts rule. Peter Storrie should in my opinion be under questioning for major fraud as a director, theft of charity monies, tax evasion and any other charges that can be directed his way.
-
We should ask the PL to honour all the unpaid debts to charities, local businesses ,schools and the tax man in this debarcle
-
As an observation These numbers look made up to me. £200,000 not £20,635.25 They are made up or estimated debts... yet the debt to st johns ambulence is exact
-
Pompey now owe £119 Million.... link How can this be? Not to mention £119 000 000 / 16 523 = £7,202.082 per person who attended the last match including away fans.
-
I think they can because the PL are acting as a clearing bank. All monies are paid through the PL and do not become pompeys till they are given it. If the money became pompeys then it would be illeagal to pay one creditor in advance of another whilst in administration. It is ironic that Barclays are sponsoring the PL yey the PL are running a huge opperation to avoid banking

Have the staff been paid yet?
