  1. Using an extreme. Yes ISIS are probably not a great example of tolerance. There is a lot of kindness and generosity borne from religious beliefs whatever people may disagree about motives. I maybe unfairly am bracketing you with the humanist campus nuts who can’t handle hearing Jordan Peterson and others inflict their micro aggressions - this basically appears to be someone who may have a different world view. They are the sort of people whose tolerance worries me far more than those who may believe in religious fairly tales.
  2. Kinda fatuous reply but what I have come to expect.
  3. Your definition of lack of tolerance is it?

Take heed Weston when you are slagging off pensioners.

  6. If you don’t get it I don’t think any explanation will help
  7. Do read this thread. Rabid atheists are anything but tolerant
  8. Is there a huge assumption being made that MLG is going to have sex?[emoji3]

You are talking Stasi levels of resources to reference back to who is who - you will also have the FOI to deal with. Impossible is this country also given how many elderly people won’t necessarily have smartphones. Plus the GDPR consequences as we haven’t quite moved to police state yet.

You think they will collate that data?! Differentiate between key worker, those exercising, those responding to community needs supporting the vulnerable? Not a chance

Over 70s can exercise. You find it odd and makes you mad is because you pretty much struggle to grasp things. Do you think my behaviour would completely change if I saw a chart saying some might get preferential treatment over handsome, tall, intelligent, charismatic people -that’s me btw :-)
  12. Exactly. Saying do not go to pub but allowing pubs to stay open was not much of a strategy. Don’t go to pub and mix but allow 60;000 racegoers to mix was mental. Understand the drip fed message to make us all ‘get it’ gradually rather than brutal WTF is happening and why bringing potential rebellion. But hey hindsight is a wonderful thing,

Thanks for explaining something so complex. Too much sanctimony and not enough understanding of human psychology and empathy,

Ok keeping with your analogy, if govt tell you you have have no alternative but to drive at 130mph every day otherwise you will lose your job but on Sundays stick to 60mph because anything faster is very dangerous and we don’t want anyone to be dangerous you’d suck it up?

TBF if I lived in London in a pokey flat and had to catch a crowded Tube every day and go to work, I have some sympathy for wanting to walk round Richmond Park on a day off thinking this is still a day I am less likely to catch or spread the virus.
  17. Would you like them to tell you it’s all ok? That was response to Dave F but seems to have quoted LD
  18. I just wish the politicians could just be themselves but can see such lack of talent amongst so many they have no confidence to answer just desperate to remember their lines to recite. Depressing. Yeah we get it isn’t your fault and isn’t a political issue but would have faith if there was some honest opinions not just trotted our lines. Remember to say ‘unprecedented’ and ‘global’

There is clearly a party going on in a garden near us. Would love the police to raid the fckers
  20. Whereas you will ignore the credentials of any experts who say the same whilst championing misunderstood individual like Toby Young. Thick as mince
  21. Lots of people have religious experiences at Easter and also an increase in psychotic episodes. Heightened time for MLG as the lord is tapping him on the shoulder

Sorry to hear your news That advice is pretty standard although MLG may challenge point 3. There is a huge luck element to health. Me and missus both come from healthy stock and none of our kids have any health issues so far. Given up smoking years ago but this should be a wake up call to smokers but won’t be. Eat less and healthier and exercise more is very simple and sensible. Although lockdown probably making loads of us snack more out of boredom.

You are ‘madder’ because you have heard someone has passed away? Are you watching any news? It seems all this righteous condemning of non social distancing is seen and posted on here by people on who are not exactly staying in themselves. I only go out for a run 4 or 5 times a week and seen pretty decent behaviour.
