I remember someone on here mentioning Markus' brother and his son out in Southampton, maybe this is them instead. Hopefully, whoever it was, can clarify.

Didn't someone mention some sort of story about the grandson of Markus and the club? I'm asking because on Instagram's news feed it has flagged up that a lot of Saints players are liking photos posted publicly by someone who is seemingly one of the Liebherr family - either a nephew or grandson of Markus - and they are posting photos of the squad in Switzerland and of themselves at Staplewood. The profile says they're a Southampton fan, but they're from Switzerland and to my eyes look more than a tad like our current owner. I'm guessing but is this the guy mentioned? - And what was the story about the grandson, I forget? Maybe we'll have a Dave Whelan situation on our hands.

It's a shame he spent so long in the treatment room, because he was almost certainly the best striker at the club.

Saints issued a response last week, to Andrew Pope - Labour candidate for New Forest East. He initially wrote to Ralph Krueger and Khali Parsons (Supporter Relations Manager) - and received a reply that says that Saints 'value' all employees and are now 'considering' and discussing whether and how to implement the living wage for all members of club staff.

I'd say you've hit the nail on the head there, Steve.

Just because MLT used to score some great goals doesn't mean he's a capable attacking 'coach' to the same level as Koeman and co.
