We are in deep sh*t. What a time to suffer a complete loss of form. Find it bizarre that some of you are still saying we are safe. The same ones of you that are making completely wrong predictions about the remaining games. Wigan will go above us. They just beat away the team that tore us a new arsehole last week. At the end of the day, if the teams around us show a bit of balls, considering our complete lack of them, we will go down. -
A team with more balls than us, clearly...

Their Australian tour gone a bit t*ts-up, has it ? I thought they actually had a clash of committments ?

The right decision. Bet it was a toughie for NC though. He strikes me as hungry and impatient.

I dont agree. We need 1 or 2 more points. We are going to lose to Spurs anyway, best to keep your powder dry. -
This. Absolutely.

What if he gets injured again through coming back too early ? -
I'd like to know, what all those who look down their noses at UKIP, propose the people of Britain should do when they are being served so BADLY by the 3 main parties. They have made a Grade "A" spectacular f**king mess of the UK over the past 20 years or so. Handing more power to the EU, a glorified unelected quango, and ringfencing budgets like international aid, are just plain bizarre considering what is going on in the UK.

Personally I would have kept Shaw back for Sunderland and Stoke, where we are more likely to get points and to ensure his fitness, played Clyne on the left and Cork or Richardson on the right. -
Surprised, tbh.

What an interesting summer we are in for...
alpine_saint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Vectis Saint is hillarious. If he finds my opinion so tedious, why does he spend so much time writing monologues that actually do nothing to dispel our perceived transfer shortcomings ? J-Rod came in early last summer. That is because the club identified him some time before (we were linked with him for ages) and made damn sure we secured his services early in the summer before someone else came in. Imo that was the best bit of proactive positive transfer activity the club has undertaken in f**king years. Despite my general complaints, this was well done and imo should be the reference benchmark for our transfer activity. We took f**king ages to bring in Yoshida, and didnt bring in a second CB. Consequence ? The first third of our season was unmittaged disaster due to defensive shortcomings. But look !! Oh, Wow !!! The same defenders having had some time to familiarise and play together massively improved things in the second third of the season. If this is not an open & shut case as to why we should have been buring up telephone wires getting CBs in after the Reading home game in the NPC, to get our back line assembled for the start of pre-season, I dont know what is. Let's come to Ramirez. Came in late, taxed the patience of our transfer negotiating people without a doubt, cost and arm and a leg, was pretty but ineffective, incapable of lasting a game, and probably will leave over the summer. Time, effort and money that could have been used elsewhere. But no, we became obsessed with a marque signing... Vectis Saint can refer to what everyone else does as much as he likes. I dont give a sh*t about them, I give a sh*t that Saints are optimally prepared for the next season start. -
After a double-red last week it appears the opportuinty is gone now anyway. Suppose because of the Suarez biting incident the FA had to make sure Liverpool get into Europe.

I think MP has come out and said this to calm the nerves of the fan base, and try to build up some morale after what was a bit of a disaster last week. Dont really think it hands Spurs any significant advantage. -

Surely in saying I'd have him back, I am writing about Ox too; last time I checked he was still young.. Schneiderlin is a fine player now, but he has taken his time getting there. Dont forget the likes of Giggs, Owen, Rooney, even Ox himself made much more of an instantaneous impact. I was wrong about him, but at the time it could have gone either way. Very easy to have a pop in hindsight; you didnt know Morgan was going to make it to the top, and dont forget there were those on here banging on about how great Olly Lancashire would be. As for your accusation about my comments about J-Rod, I may have once wrote something when it appeared NA wasnt going to use him about why did we bother, but I have hardly been vocal about him. But WTF, that all detracts from the "Alpine myth", doesnt it ?
-
No, wrong way to go. Arsenal are nobody now, why cant we hold them off and get Ox back ?
-
As long as its not on another S. American loser. Personally, I'd have him back, deffo.

If Woy pushes for this, and the FA meekly capitulate, I will never support England again and will actively support whoever they are playing. He's a manipulative c*nt who thought he could blackmail the FA a la Shearer, and who is now angling for a better club deal. I leave you all to make your own minds up if he is a nasty racist sh*t too. He also managed to trash our SA 2010 campaign.

I remember when we signed him there was all that speculation that Lowe did some sort of deal which would lead eventually to him going to Arsenal. I just hope the 10m is not some sort of pre-agreed cap, if this is true. It sounds like a Lowe trick to keep the initial fee to us down. Anyhow, hopefully PSG will prise Wenger away from Arsenal........
