I agree with you completely. However, the fact this has happened has for me exposed the lack of depth in the squad due to a poor summers work in the transfer market.

I dont agree with this, it is not about numbers. 10 of that 15 would never have got a look in ever again anyway. But the fact that we drew 0-0 with Oldham and saw the playoffs disappear due to suspension of Morgan, and that we couldnt unlock the likes of Exeter and Wycombe even with Lallana, Puncheon, Antonio and Papa and now two of them are gone, leaves me with apprehension for this season.

Have no problem with the current squad size. We should have addressed the CM, GK and wide player situation. It seems to me we've only played lip service to it. What do you expect me to say after a win ? If I said it doesnt matter the squad is still weak and it needs addressing, you'd only accuse me of moaning anyway. If I said "Well done team" which I did after every win last season, its never enough and doesnt get noticed anyway because the likes of you are only looking for my negative posting. So, again, what should I say after a win ? "We will walk this league" ? "In AP we Trust" ? Sorry, dont believe either....

There's being weakened because replacement players arent as good, and there's being totally unprepared. With Lallana and Puncheon injured (and have been for a while) we have NO WIDTH.
