They've had that all pre-season thanks to the bizarre strategy the management have employed, whereby you dont actually field the team that consists of your first XI if you can avoid it.

On most threads relating to transfer activity since I started the first one at the beginning of June. Oh, I am sure a few would deny it now we know how full the treatment table is.

Sorry Adrian, but this is full of half-truths. There are people on here who have said things like "If we dont get anyone else in, I wont be disappointed" so you are mis-representing the truth when you say everyone agrees and it is obvious for everyone to see. I would rather be wrong and see Saints do well; how dare you suggest otherwise ? It is simply the case however that my head overrules my heart and I do not see it. And considering the huge amount of abuse, real personal abuse I receive for expressing my opinion, I think it is perfectly understandable if I sometimes (and it is only sometimes) point out the fact when I was right. And I have elsewhere tried to explain that the volume of my posting is partially due to the fact that I receive so many responses to me expressing my opinion, some good ones amongst all the angst and bile, I feel the need to respond to them.

Why is it a cop-out of an answer ? Its the truth. They know how they want to play, and they have the scouts to find the right player. Its so easy for the likes of you to throw those questions out knowing that I have enough trouble getting to see Saints let alone having a good overview of the whole English game. And considering the sneer of your response, why on earth do you think I should waste my time honouring your other questions with an answer ?

I dont think it is our place to answer these questions. That is APs and NCs jobs. Thats what they are paid (handsomely) to do.

A good post. The personal abuse NC is starting to attract is disgusting. In my opinion a few of us are questioning APs approach, but I am yet to read personal abuse of him on here.

There are two issues that are massively polarising this site at the moment. 1. Is NC running the club in the most fan-friendly manner ? 2. Is AP really capable of delivering promotion ? For me these are two good club- and football-related issues. As with any discussions, the opinion on both sides of the argument is deeply entrenched. People rarely change their minds about anything. The key issue is how the discussions progress. In my opinion, it may be that some find the volume of posts annoying from certain contributors, but if you express a minority opinion that illicits 15 responses, all worthy of a response, it is hardly suprising that the poster concerned ends up making excessive posts. EDIT : There has been an increase recently of people writing things like "are you going to answer my post #xx, or havent you got an argument ?" so you cant win either way. What is not acceptable is the personal abuse. In my opinion again, despite the fact that I clearly wind-up and annoy many posters, I do not do it because I am a serial personal abuse poster. There are some where every other post is personal abuse of some form who seem never to get banned. I reckon that if anything, the amount of personal abuse has gone down in recent times, a considerable accomplishment.

Maybe he simply isnt totally convinced ? Even you have to agree surely, that if we dont do the bizz between now and Xmas, AP doesnt have a leg to stand on ?

You are forgetting crap range and crap take-off payload. All those extra engine fittings and fans come at a price with the F35B. I cannot believe that the F35B went with the already discredited VTOL (NOT VSTOL) scheme of the YAK-38 Forger. It means all that stuff used for the take-off and landing is just dead weight during the mission. The "supersonic Harrier" P.1154 scheme from the 60s should have been updated. The least we can do if pulling out of the JSF is not an option is to change the order from F35Bs to F35Cs and convert the carriers from STOBAR to CATOBAR config.
