Missed the game completely due to a prior committment, but was devastated when I heard the result having seen we were still 0-0 at half time. I read the BBC report: seems to think the scoreline deeply flattered Pompey and we could have killed the game off onthe strength of the first half. Their second goal seems to have been the killer, we simply tried to get back in the game in the last 15 mins and overcommitted (as you do in the cup). Interested to know the circumstances of the second goal.
