I just read a summary of these comments by NC on the Echo site (yes, I know it might have been twisted). But I am wondering if NC has delivered an ultimatum about the Norwich result. The last paragraph on the Echo article sounds very ominous.

Yep, this confirms what was already being touted on here - this "5-year plan" thing has gone out of the window for some reason. Why ? Who knows. Suppose it comes down to what you mean by "tradition". Personally, I would support Saints if they wore blue shirts and white shorts. And I am bored of red-and-white stripes. My fave kit of all time is the Patrick kit, then second is the Pony kit in which MLT played so memorably.

There is nothng particularly special about red-and-white stripes. I can think of at least 5 other teams that wear it. I am all in favour of honouring our tradition for one season with the red sash or the red quarters.
