Form means NOTHING in our case. We started on -10, took ages to get going and lost momentum in December/January. Our league season is over.

Looking at how things panned out for Killer, and looking at Connolly's injury record, is it really so unreasonable and provocative for a Saints fan to wonder if lightning can strike in the same place twice (or several times, when you consider the likes of Delgado, David Hirst, etc...) ?

Yep. My son and I flew with Flybe from Soton to Salzburg during the summer of 2004, and were shocked to be sharing the plane with the SFC squad going for some summer tpre-season training. Niemi (and Beattie) were really nice to my son, who idolised both at the time. I'll say again - anyone who boos Niemi if he plays is a brain-dead tw*t.
