QPR who were top after 24 games last year had 47 points, same as us now. Under 2 points a game average. Lets hope for a winning run for the saints like last year in L1. Come on Peterborough!

Both Southampton and WHU have had a shocking month! Definitely not the form you expect for top two teams. Inevitable that at least one team have caught up!

When the mighty saints took the lead against Man U in the cup, I was watching it in a bar in Sydney. KO off 4am if I remember correctly! Winning 13 of the last 15 league fixtures of the 10/11 season to secure promotion. The opening fixture against Leeds; I realised how good we really are. On an unusually hot Saturday in October we beat Watford with ease!

In my original comment I suggested that such stats can help when assessing a player, not that all these stats are useless as you stated. For the record I rate Guly highly, although he has his moments and his football is not always pleasing on the eye. I think a new addition in January, who ever it may be, will have their work cut out to establish themselves as a first team starter. IMHO
