So you don't think any of these type of stats provide any useful information about a players form? Obviously you do not make any decisions based solely on these stats, but I do think they should be taken into consideration.
I think stats like these help to make a reasoned descion about a players quality. Three of our rumoured striker transfer targets are in the bottom 4 of the CC; therefore if you just take team points, GS and GC into consideration then we should steer well clear of all three.
I think it creates an opportunity to rest some players; Guly will be rested as will Lambert IMHO. I think Connally will start to get him back up to scratch. Also a start for Bart will give him the chance to rebuild his confidence.
It will be interesting to see how Coventry approach the game considering their current position.
It's hard to single one player out; but Richardson for me! Connolly looked a bit rusty when he came on, had a few stray touches. Lets hope he can regain his form asap. His link up play with Lallana and Lambert has been missed.
I am aware of the credibility of Wiki, I was just assuming if the source were correct...
Also every club he as played for is in the north, I think a move down south would be a very big move for him
Seems as though Sharp is settled in the north and the fact that he rejected a saints offer in the summer suggests he is not interested in a move down south.
Maynard looks impressive but £4 million plus cant really be justified IMHO. It's evident that he is not interested in a move to Leicester but may have quite a bit of interest from PL clubs. Although with our current position and form a move to Southampton could be pretty tempting.
