  1. Just atrocious.
  2. That's rumoured to be on the cards to be fair. Could happen at the same time 🤣😂
  3. Just imagined what this place will be like if we sell dibling, lose to Norwich, and then accept a bid for Fernandes... All before any serious incomings are announced. Could be a pretty epic meltdown 😅🤣
  4. Checking in sporadically whilst on holiday to consistently read there is no news. We're either having an absolute mare this window, or leaving it to the last minute, or a combination of the 2. Still needs to use what he's got player wise as well - edozie is an available winger for starters. With him, Fraser, and Robinson, he's at least got enough players to start with a 4231 formation in matches - we don't have to stick to this unbalanced 5 at the back.
  5. Having looked into this enough earlier in the summer. That article isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

    Will Still

To me, he has aspects of both Ralph and koeman - but with far superior man management. I.e., be's both tough / ruthless, and sensitive / considered to squad morale and how to manage the various players. As I said in the pre season predictions thread - he's going to Belgium the fuck out of the championship. Still think we will go up top two - provided the squad looks good end of the month.

    Will Still

This was his interview answer when they asked him about his coaching style and how it related to Russel Martin, wasn't it? Solak then hired him on the spot...

    Tyler Dibling

Will be interesting to see how he gets on with grealish for a year. Similar aspects to his game and certainly a players he's partly modelled himself on. Hope he does alright at Everton - at the end of the day it's both good for saints financially, and for the attractiveness and reputation of the academy, if he does well. But equally we've done pretty good out of that sale - especially if we keep MF and can buy a couple of key players to strengthen.
  9. Isn't ABK in the final year of his contract?

    Tyler Dibling

Because dibling showed as an 18year old that he can boss or beat some of the best defenders in the league for fun, and they had no clue whether to stand off him or close him down. The potential with him is immense - the gamble will be whether he achieves it.
  11. Was just catching up from a field in Cornwall... reading his (12) posts, joined august 6, is absolutely an Everton fan 🤣😂

    Tyler Dibling

Is it 20% of sale fee, or 20% of profit? Makes a huge difference in reality, and these details are important.
  13. He's 24 and easily one of boro's best attacking players by all accounts. Their fans seem incredulous that they'd sell a 20 goal contribution player to a division rival for £12M. 23 goal contributions in 24/25 from 45 appearances. 21 goal contributions in 23/24 from 45 appearances (between two clubs). 17 goal contributions in 22/23 from 34 matches (league 1, but equally when he was fairly young). That's a very consistent output. If we were selling him we'd want a lot more than £12M... lets see how this plays out. Will need to get him in before a big sale is agreed for Dibling/Fernandez, otherwise the price will go up.
  14. Well, everyone knows how much Spurs have got to spend on a winger now 😆
  15. Nope. But Starmer's gonna get him now... Very silly boy - facing 3 years in jail for that kind of tweet these days 🤦
  16. The club sold SAA and have Edozie just sat there. We've also elected not to use Dibling (much) or Aribo (at all). We've had/have the players. I was grumbling weeks ago because i didn't want a repeat of 23/24 when we had huge key player churn in mid/late august, and subsequently had a really poor section of form which almost certainly cost us automatic promotion. We look destined to repeat the unsettled squad this time around sadly - hopefully with less of an impact on form. It is what it is, but it is frustrating. And despite grumbling about it previously, i do have faith that we won't be selling players unless there are decent replacements lined up. Fans will just have to be patient.
  17. There is certainly something weird going on with their attitude towards us and this transfer. Starting to feel like the footballing equivalent of negotiating with Putin... serious ego massaging and placating required to even get a foot in the door. All very odd.
  18. Just no.
  19. Yup. Its also a better deal for all parties. They're a far nicer club with regards to current prospects, fanbase, and the general respectfulness of interclub dealings (than scummy Everton), they'll also help him develop better in an attacking team, we're far more likely to get a sell on clause that's meaningful, and he can stay closer to home/family from his side. If he's got to be sold i'm fairly content with it being palace.
  20. Much needed at this point, clearly we're struggling to secure any other sales (squad players like edozie, aribo, smallbone, ABK etc) and ultimately we have to make some income somewhere to complete the squad Still wants. Palace would be a superb choice for dibling in all seriousness - he will play, develop, and they will absolutely sell him on for a nice fee.
  21. No way Krasnador make a final decision today, doesn't mean we won't walk away.
  22. Think we need to stay the hell clear of russian clubs going forward. Absolutely taking the piss out of saints at this point.
  23. His long white socks routine is a bit unusual in fairness 😅
  24. Stoke fans have always been some of the most disparaging about other teams. Its genuinely amazing that they've consistently held these views having been so shit for so long and consistently losing each week... they must spend their sundays (etc) very depressed if every week they predict a win against shit opposition and then lose 😬 We've had one reasonably tricky opener, and then got a deserved draw against the basically unanimous pick for best team in the league - and we're shit apparently. From their forum they act like they're in the title 😄
  25. Also, for all our mistakes at the back - Ipswich only had one shot on target.
