Nathaniel Clyne @Nathaniel_Clyne On route Geneva. DONE!
-
16:38 Nathaniel Clyne @Nathaniel_Clyne its a great club and I've enjoyed every minute, but now I look forward to a new challenge. Alot of Palace fans wishing him luck with us too. OS at 5pm?
-
Hes young, keen and wants to kick on I assume. Hes not going to get regular playing time at a top floor club. Look at Fabio, hes made several PL, CL and cup appearences over the past few seasons. Yet hes now gone off on loan to QPR.
-
You got me excited then!
-
I think this was written before the news broke on SSN that we have been given permission to talk to him. The fact hes out of contract surely means we've agreed a fee rather than going to tribunal and now all he has to do is sign.

Is this going to be televised? -
Found this on a palace forum: The general feeling on there is he has already gone and most are hoping Butterfield is involved in the deal.
-
I would say RB and RM is our biggest area of weakness. We have no real right midfielder and Richardson is in no way good enough for the PL.
-
Sky Sports Since we seem a step closer to signing Clyne this thread was missing something.
-
Alan Nixon thinks this one could be concluded as early as today.
-
A mod moved it from the Zaha thread so send your sarcasm their way.

If you look at post #123 the tabloids were reporting we were after a double swoop for Zaha and Clyne therefore is somewhat appropriate to this thread. -

Would be extremely happy with these two. Pick up a GK and possibly another CB I'd be confident going into the PL season. -
There's a post on Ugly Inside that we've bid £3m for K Schmeichal

He plays for Leicester City. -
He is indeed according to this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Grill http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/acta7/details/berater_66.html

Very promising young man, his attitude could be s concern but under NA and NCs guidance who knows. Looks a very similar player to Taarabt to me though (attitude included) who was a massive flop this season in the premiership. I can't seeing them selling for less than £7million or so though. -
Thought some people might be interested there is a program on Sky Sports 1 this evening called Footballs Richest Prize which follows the 11-12 season for the NPC mainly following the promotion chase. Could be an interesting watch. Program started at 23.30.

Does anyone know if he is actually under going the medical right now or is he still in holland?

-
I can't believe this thread is only 6 pages long. It's usually over 40 before the player actually signs. Looks a really good catch from NA and NC. We really are premier league when we beat the likes of QPR, Fulham and Werder Bremen to signings.
-
Breaking news on Sky Sports too now SSN: Southampton agree fee to sign defender Alexander Buttner from Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.
-
Surely this could be people within vitesse just leaking information to try and get Fulham or QPR to put in a rival bid to ours.
-
Sounds pretty much a done deal now then. Let's wrap this up and move on to the next!
