Anyone know anything about them? Story is, bought a tv in early December 2008, tv malfunctioned November 2009, (thick vertical line down centre of screen) shop duly took tv back and repaired it, which took forever and finally got tv back february this year. When tv was picked up was told guarantee was up now and repair was guaranteed for three months. Turned on tv this evening only to find the same fault again, the tv by the way is a Samsung 32" lcd and the shop in question is AV World in Fareham. I know they are not going to roll over tomorrow when i phone but if i could quote some consumer law at them it might help, thanks in advance for any advice and i will keep you posted on tomorrows events.

Pine Drive / Bramdean Rd still cordoned off and police gaurds on scene and STILL nothing on the news! so much for the first alert system! We have four kids under 11 so it would be nice to know if the offender(s) have been caught!

Anyone else got this book? i recently bought a copy from ebay, only to find it has a lovely glossy cover but is filled with what looks like photocopied sheets! are they all like this? is it another of Illingsworths scams? surely the club wouldnt sell such a shoddy product? Im sure ive seen it for sale in the Megastore.

More worrying for me is that if one of my children downloads copyrighted material my family would have any internet connection cut off and the entire address banned from using the internet, also any unprotected wireless networks would be shut down with immediate effect! I am given to understand this includes free wifi hotspots such as Mcdonalds and such like.

Why should you be worried? Websites will be blocked for alleged copyright infringement. Families accused of sharing copyrighted files will be disconnected without trial. They will have to pay to appeal. Even if you don't live in the UK, it sets a worrying precedent for other countries to follow suit.

Freedom of internet use is as important to me as freedom of speech, or freedom of information, that does NOT make me an internet pirate (although posting a link from the pirate bay was probably not a good way of making that point!)
