A big club to me is a club that has a successful history, large fanbase, sells out frequently, has a culture and heritage distinct from others. Again though subjective as supporters of smaller clubs can equally aregue their own merits of being big. History and the success of previous teams in clubs plays a huge part in their present, Sunderland, Newcastle and Celtic as examples.
