Its great too see Nigel Adkins has always been an admirier of the Italian game and handy also that Cortese who has no control over the purchasing of players as he is just an office boy can speak Italian to broker the deal...............................
-
No I have not, I could of put sounds comfortable if true, but thought the reader wiser.
-
So you are saying money plays a huge part? I agree we needed to spend and spend well. Thanks Wes. Good caveat by the way at the end of your little piece.

http://fourfourtwo.com/news/england/115302/default.aspx I can list their players if you need me too? Spurs graduation list Livermore Crouch Hoddle Hazzard Barmby Redknapp They have had a feew good footballers out of their academy over the years...................
-
No he had not but as soon as his ownership was sorted he went straight there, jog on, whats this a Stepney knees up? If Boruc is/was so good why have no teams bought him?
-
No my head did not(is this grange hill?), I am not a skate either, just giving my opinon, you appear to be a bellend though, sunshine glasses and all.
-
I think you will find he would of lost his place and he would of only been a back up, Viviano is his name. Your knowledge of this clown is worrying as like most sheep you seem to know **** all about football, ask yourself as well how much was he on there and how much is he on here? Why has one bought him if he is that good?
-
Sorry Liverpool have always spent big and are the most successful English club in Europe, United also, now the most successful domestic English club, and Chelsea are the current European Champions, so if you spend big and well you win but other than that what are you on about?

Argentina upping the ante on the Falklands....

American would help us as they did before, they provided sidewinder missiles which helped us win or argubly did win us the war. Obama would not say it he would remain neutral (he like most of America hates the old Empire but he would have to go along with it as we are not the aggressor) and seek peace talks, but the yank military would love to test gizmo's on a war they have no part in. Note the US bought their empire California New Mexico Texas Alaska Louisiana Purchase and other now US States. Philippines Cuba Costa Rica Hawaii American Samoa And others but history has taken those pages away. -
Is our current side being competitive in premier league?
Barry Sanchez replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Well they must of been happy with the bulk of the squad or obviously they would of replaced them, unless there was an agenda.................... -
My feet are firmly on the ground and supporting Saints has put them there, I like it that way, dreamy Saints fans make me laugh, like the fat kid with the prom queen infatuation, they just wont wake up and smell the coffee. 5 years plan European football 50/50 Academy/purchased footballers Noble dreams but do fans actually know how much you have to consistently spend to even try to achieve that? We are still one of the lowest spending teams ever in the history of premiership but dont let facts get in the way of bull****. http://www.transferleague.co.uk/league-tables/transfer-league-table-1992-to-today.html

I can say it and I will say it again we have not played with enough passion this season, and why dont you have an avatar of a nice carrot or pear.
-
FEYENOORD, know your own identity.
-
He could grow into a great centreback in the championship, wheres is Mayuka? Game time for Rodriguez? Where will he play? Clyne is good but still young and needs competition, Ramirez is a good players but falls over a lot and has he been worth he transfer so far? No he needs time to bed in but we dont have time do we?
-
I told you before you need to update your avatar, its as old as Roger Mellie but not nearly half as funny.
-
Not many at the moment to be honest, we have a team of hairdressers, the atmosphere has been ****e, the rabid love in with our Nige is obviously not that strong as the demand for tickets is not what it was when we were last here in the premiership, our kit is ****e, there is no more openess now then when that **** lowe had it, Cortese runs the club and buys the players (would Adkins of sought out and bought Ramirez?) and his knowledge of football is not that great, I am skeptical of our transfers, in fact I think our transfers have been a disaster, we have played with little or no passion this year as well. On the plus side we could get into Europe next season as we are so friendly and nice.
-
Nail on the head, bang on ,perfect, you got it.
-
Yoshida Rodriguez Mayuka 3 for a start, at best Yoshida is a squad player for a premeirship side, Rodriguez the same, its abvious Adkins agrees with me concerning Mayuka.
-
Boruc is a fat clown who is an error prone joker, to me this sums up the tanned ones knowledge of the game, for ***** sake he was a keeper as well, surely he could see Boruc's is a mistake waiting to happen, if he was that good why have clubs let him go? Why was he not snapped up by a top top European club? Because he is gash.
-
We are that comfortable with it we are alledegly raising it? Sounds comfortable.................

Are we better off now that we are out of the FA cup?
Barry Sanchez replied to eelpie's topic in The Saints
No but the bonus of it is we are actually having a discussion about the weakness of our squad, in our first XI there are only a handful of players who would be 1st teamers at others premiership clubs, this speaks volumes. Should of strengthened a long ago perhaps last July? -
So in short panic buying after we bought crap in the previous transfer window.
-
I trust Nicola Cortese as much as I trust any banker, I would imagine a modern footballer looks at the City, club, clubs history, clubs future, money, sponsorship and endorsements over whether someone at the club speaks Italian.
-
I thought Cortese said we will be up there competing for European football! Anybody who completely buys into this academy, 5 year plan and the like is being very naive, like they think it will actually come true, what about Everton, Liverpool, Spurs, West Ham and Newcastle? Dont they have ambitions to rise again, they will always spend more money than us and most of the above have a history of a better academy as well. We need to wake up, we will only progress if we do a bit of both and not actually speculate buy and purchase known quality, how do we do this? By paying over the odds for this and will Cortese allow this? I think you probably now know from my posts I dont think this will be allowed to happen on players over a certain age and unsellable for the future so what we are left with are academy players and young players of known but as yet unfulfilled potential, a huge gamble when we have to stay in this League if we realistically are going to keep Lambert Shaw Puncheon Ramirez Schneiderlin Cork Lallana Now when they have gone and we have balanced the books, what will we buy to get us up again? Selling Sharp could be a mistake after all.
