Dear GM, I couldn't give a flying fuck about your Little Englander rewriting / ignoring / ignorance of history. If you believe that the UK's military are capable of holding up a Russian invasion of Europe unaided for 2 days let alone 2 years you will get a very nasty surprise should that ever come to pass. I am delighted that on most subjects your views are opposed to mine, I would hate to think that on any subject other than club football we might find ourselves on the same side. You are genuinely the only poster on here I would never want to meet. Now, in the unlikely case that this boórish slavering oaf truly has me on ignore, will somebody please quote this post, ta.

Yes, but when we get to Jan 6th there will be objections, in which case the objections will fail as both houses of the Legislature must agree to invalidate a state's vote, and the Democrats control the lower house.
-
But I am right. 😉 Little Englanders have a closeted parochial view of history. "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel", Samuel Johnson.

God Save the Queen, Rule Brittania, down with tyrants, Up Pompeii.......,.
-
That just about perfectly summarises English / British / UK foreign policy between the reign of Queen Elizabeth 1 and the start of WW1.
-
In your estimate of casualties in the liberation of Europe you have conveniently ignored over a million Russians killed in their assault on Germany in the last 6 months of the war, against the bulk and best of the remains of the German army. As for civilian deaths due to bombing 2 words, Hamburg and Dresden. ( Edit: by the end of the war, Arthur "Bomber" Harris admitted, Bomber Command had run out of civilian targets as every German town and city with over 50,000 population had been obliterated. )

GM, how do you explain that when "we" were defeating "unelected French and German dictators", we were only able to defeat the former with the significant manpower of the Germans, Austrians, and Russians, and we only beat the latter as part of an alliance of the French, Italians, Americans, and Russians, ( WW1 ), and with the substantial assistance of the Russians and Americans, ( WW2 ).

Triggered. As you're so keen on democracy, care to enlighten us on how well your icon Donnie T is getting on ?
-
But he does it so well. I suppose it's the result of King Edwards making him a "moron".
-
I hope you had Land of hope and Glory playing at full volume whilst you composed that diatribe.
-
But did you work 29 hours a day at t'mill and pay the mill owner for the privilege ?

She's.....

With Sharp & McGoaldrought up top you can see why they have issues - 8 goals in 67 PL appearances between them. Perhaps we can offer them ShLong in January ?
-
From the BBC; Romeu's assist for the Redmnd goal was is first in the Premier League, in his 193rd appearance. It is not all his own fault, though. That was the 96th chance he has created in those games.

Better call the cops, you've been burgled.

I think he's lost his cards.

Jannick Beckebauer has been excellent.

Probably the same view as they hold for Ebola, Typhoid, Zika, and all other Microbes of Mass Destruction.

Every election / poll / referendum has sore losers. Only the US Presidential Election of 2020 has shown us how much damage to democratic principles an individual can do, and how gullible people are willing to become inspite of common sense, in the face of incontrovertable evidence, and the reality of the situation.

Can you really not work it out ? Potesters protesting a legitimate result is perhaps comparable, the way Trump, his hangers-on, and fanatic supporters have reacted, abused the media, the Courts, and the Constitution make it a completely different picture - on a far more dangerous level. How many protesters over here claimed that the election was 'stolen' ? How many claimed that polling numbers were deliberately and artificially manipulated ? How many believed that the polling process had been illegally altered so as to 'fix' the result ? How many claimed that dead people had been inserted onto the elctoral roll to inflate voter numbers ? Where was the Twitter feed from the Leader of the Opposition constantly berating anybody and everybody who failed to agree with his assertion that he had won the 'legitimate' vote ? Where were the claims that the 'Main Stream Media' were part of a conspiracy ? How many Court cases were launched to overturn parts of the poll and disqualify hundreds of thousands of legitimate votes ?
-
It would not be hypocritical.
-
No. Where were the allegations of 'ballot stuffing', foreign interference, trying to use the Courts to overturn the popular vote, the leader of the losing party blitzing the media because he had a sulk on ?
-
You're not suggesting that Scally might be correct, are you ?
