Eh? Averaging a goal every two games over the past four seasons is very good. There's some great movement in those videos and some top class finishes as well. If we serve him well and he can scout out the differences between Premier League and Serie A defenders then he could end up being very good indeed. Would still prefer someone without this 'character' tag if we can afford to be choosy though... Again, Roberto Soldado is far too good to sign for Southampton.

You won't find one that comes anywhere near that Channon goal. I can't believe I'd never seen it until recently, one of the best goals I've ever seen.

I don't think we take enough shots to skew the retention statistics that much, if you think about how often possession changes in a 90 minute match. That's the other thing to improve on anyway, for a team who take so many shots we didn't put nearly enough of them in towards the end of the season!

At full strength I think Arsenal have got to have the best, followed by City and Chelsea. West Brom are the only team outside the top 7 that can rival ours I reckon. I expect Michael Laudrup's trying to build a solid nucleus for Swansea this season as well, so I'd keep an eye on them.

We can forget about Soldado. Damiao and Osvaldo are ambitious but he's on another level. I'd like to see Damiao or Burak Yilmaz. Osvaldo is quality but if we can get someone of his ability without his, erm, 'character' then we might be doing ourselves a favour.
