we barely won a defensive header the whole game. Even MP acknowledged that Yoshida was easily beaten for their 2nd goal. I think we would have lost that had Carroll been playing, as they had the better of us in the air nearly the whole game

MP reaction really please with the 3 points it was a difficult game but a good one for the fans we could not control the game after the 2nd goal 2nd balls in our box and in the challenge they were better than us we learn from this the first 25 mins we were very good we had the chances to score goals, we were good in wide areas we were good in the counter attack after the 2nd goal, for some reason, we could not control the ball how we wanted when strikers score, it is for the team as they cannot do it on their own strikers complete the teams work we won against a tough, difficult team Mario is a player we did not have before, he is strong he will get better and we will control the 2nd ball he had to come off as he was not fully fit it was important we had energy and the fans had energy and this helps the players you can tell that he was not all that impressed with the win IMO

can see McCarthy, Hoj, Pied, Targett, Austin, JwP and Boufal starting this...maybe even Long if he is staying the new lad is bound to get 60 mins also...surely... edit, Just seen the cut he has on his shin, so probably wont get game time in the week

entertainment at home!!! Thought we looked good for the first 50 mins or so Davis was good, Cedric was decent, Gabbi was very good and JwP was good when he came on however, swansea and a 10 man west ham at home, we had to get 4 points from that and pretty incredible that we nearly blew it. as said during the match, Stephens and Yoshida are both very good on the ball but f-me, neither are remotely commanding in the air and we lost so many defensive headers. however, a win is a win, 3 goals scored at home in an entertaining game
