But it's not jut opinion based is it? That's the point. If that opinion had no bearing on my life I would be a little more blase about it. However, that opinion is one that has manifested itself into making myself, my family, friends and those around me poorer in the long term, with a poorer quality of life, and a lot of them because they're filthy, sniveling racists, like yourself. That's the issue. Personally, I have a meeting in half an hour to see if I still have a job due to you people. If I lose my job - so be it, there are far more people who are worse off than me that have been affected by Brexit. But what you are failing to understand is that people like you voted to leave the EU because of your little-Englander ideals, and it is having a quite massive negative affect on those that voted Remain. So I'm sorry if I insult you and your kind, but those that sit here and maintain all is fine are talking from their selfish, I'm alright Jack, ivory towers.

It must be the same as the way you look at foreigners..(or is it just Arabs and Jews)? Yes, it does annoy me that I have to share oxygen with you mouth breathers, but that's life. I am sure there are multiple racists, pedophiles and murderers that I also have share my air with without knowing. It's part of the human experience. We're not happy with it but unless I'm going to live on an island with just my nearest and dearest I can't get away from any of it. What do you do when you realise someone is a Jew? Do you spit on them, give them directions to Auschwitz, or just sneer at them internally and carry on with your life?

It's more that those transfer fees are massively inflated due to it - be more interesting if they actually used the proper transfer figures.

#humblebrag Yep, I thought exactly that about the ERM, when I was 7. I was arguing the advantages to my Year 3 teacher in the New Forest. The reason I thought you were in that camp is because there are very few sane people out there that actually believe it will be better. I thought you were stupid - I didn't think you were insane.

OMG, listening to Lord Jones, being absolutely schooled on BBC 5 Live. It's embarrassing. If only Brexit was backed by prominent people that weren't utter cretins maybe the chasm between the two sides wouldn't be so big.

12/1 on Skybet. Nice insurance bet there - although may be worth waiting until after tonight's game.

What leads you to that conclusion? Just because they've spent more, doesn't mean they can outbid us, it's just that we have different targets. To prove this you need to show where we've both bid for players, and we've pulled out due to not being able to compete financially.

Has this included agent costs and loyalty bonuses?

More remainer lies - Project Fear. Oh, hang on...

You actually think that? I thought you were just in the camp of "it won't be any worse". You actually think we'll be thriving? You are a ****ing nutjob mate. You do realise how large Canada is don't you? Where we plan to move to, we will still be over 2000 miles from them (compared to 3500 from the ones in the UK). Anyway, nothing to worry about here for you, I'm just starting the process.

TBF, it will be different timezones, but will only be 5 hours different so I'll still be able to log on and annoy him. Now to convince the missus that she doesn't need to be near her family...

It's the internal wrangling between that, and the realisation that he has ****ed his kids and grandkids over.

Indeed. The company I am at is re-structuring due to Brexit and the harm it has one to the company over the last two years, so I am likely out of a job at the end of Feb - although will know more later today.

Agree with all of this.

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-advice-for-travellers-visiting-the-uk-eu-or-european-economic-area-in-the-event-of-a-no-deal-eu-exit So ex-pats will likely have no healthcare if 'No deal' is reached - so it won't be the Europeans clogging up the NHS, it'll be fellow countrymen coming back from the EU to get operations. Great news.

I thought you'd miss me most. x

Yeah, I heard that last night as well. I won't have sales finalised on assets by then anyway, this will be more towards the end of the year, but will certainly put the wheels in motion in terms of getting them marketed. I just think this is a good indication of what will now follow. Just as an aside, in relation to bringing money back from Europe, am I best to wait until April and the final outcome, hedge now, or something else? The money went out there Jan 2016, at 1.44, so whatever happens I've done alright out of it.

Yep, looks like it. Time to look at moving out of this ****hole of a country then.

They were talking about this earlier on LBC, vote-Leavers are now more entrenched even though they know they're wrong, as they don't want to admit they were wrong. Classic cutting off nose tactic.

"Dire consequences"...
-
But why, they're delivering Brexit, which is what the public asked for?
-
This isn't stopping Brexit - it's just stopping "No Deal", so shouldn't have any effect on their 'Leave voting Industrial Heartlands'.

Labour confirms it will back Cooper amendment Labour has confirmed it will back an amendment tabled by one of its backbench MPs which aims to prevent a no-deal Brexit. MP Yvette Cooper tabled an amendment which attempts to rule out the UK leaving the EU without a formal deal by allowing parliament time to pass a new law. The bill to bring in the new law would require Theresa May to seek to postpone Brexit day (currently 29 March) until 31 December, if MPs do not approve her deal by 26 February. This will pass then.

So, looks like the Malthouse Compromise is now the favoured option of the Conservative party and the DUP...
