I had a chat with Antony Fanshawe yesterday. A great guy with a wicked sense of humour. He has already warned the Pompey trust to decide "when to draw a line under things". He still thinks that Birch is more interested in liquidation, as he then gets to bleed the £3M in parachute payments instead of Chanrai getting his mitts on it. The trust has had zero help from anyone and he had nothing but contempt for the way they have been treated by the Premier League, with regard to the parachute payments, post a potential liquidation, and the Football League, who are just a collection of clueless old farts, according to him. Good luck to the trust, but they should respect the advice they are getting from Antony. He's a clever guy and I think now is the time for them to get the hell out....

Gave up smoking 30 years ago cold turkey, after getting through 3 packs a day when I was on shifts at Fawley. Wasn't the hardest thing I've ever done. Getting off morphine was far harder.. I personally think smoking in private should be encouraged as a method of population control. I am pretty sure that the demographics of an aging population will be a real burden in the future and there aren't the wars, disease and famine there once were, unfortunately.

Interesting story from the West Country:

He published my email account details on PoL, which as an admin, he had access to. I threatened legal action to wind him up and he threw a sh! t fit and the Stalinist purge of Pompey Online began, with a ton of personal abuse for being a scummer and threatening their leader, etc. When I posted supposedly confidential info about him on here, available from his Twitter account, he PM'd the mods on here threatening legal action, himself. I guess you had to be there....

What I find amusing about PompyScot is that he hates scummers and will ban anyone with an IP address linked to Southampton, despite him being a Jock and Glasgow Rangers fan who lives in "east" Fareham. Meanwhile, my nephew, who was born in Southampton, has been a Pompey season ticket holder for over ten years, starting from when he was at University there. I have no problem with that, as your team generally picks you, but a sweaty IT ****, who happens to work in Titchfield. What the **** gives him the right to say who is a Pompey fan? Oh, that's right, he runs a website and has a twitter account here, where he posts personal details about himself on the internet. Glad Steve Grant isn't a hate filled, bitter sweaty that takes himself FAR too seriously...

I just happened to look back after the goal and this guy was jumping up and down and waving at the fans behind him. He suddenly got punched on his back and then all the stewards ran over.

It's neuro-linguistic programming for those that do know and is an example of pseudo-science and physco-babble dreamt up by stoners in California, the teaching of which presumably finances their drug habits. I would rank it up there with Dianetics as a theatre of the absurd and is fodder for the feeble minded among us with less than enquiring minds. The type of enquiring minds that would ask, before paying some dreamer, good money, in return for bullsh!t, "Where is the scientific evidence that this bo££ox is effective?". Of course, there is no scientific evidence of any sort, apart from the anecdotal gossip from the snake oil salesmen or the gullible. If the techniques were that enriching, Phil could afford to buy a business class seat, rather than blagging one.
