On my infrequent visits to this site, I thought, after the Southampton/Portsmouth riots (I've seen/participated in, more "thuggish" violence at the derby games, back in the day) that it was worth taking a stroll down memory lane. Things don't seem to have moved on much, following the above post of mine, apart from the country being closer to a civil war than ever. Pick your side, ladies and don't say you weren't warned.

So, Article 5 of the NATO treaty, does not apply to Cyprus, primarily because Cyprus is not a member of NATO.
