  1. Had a conversation with one of the members of staff over the phone about Liverpool. He claimed “Liverpool always sells out quite quickly” no response when I questioned surely that’s an indication we should have taken more. Conspiracy theory: any correlation that we’ve taken 1200 for both Leicester and Palace, happens to be the amount of tickets that will go on sell for Bournemouth? I genuinely believe it’s an attempt to get the same people turning up every week and lower the ‘undesirable’. Imagine the fact Portsmouth had a few more turn up than our allocation would have riled up the police team.
  2. Looking for 1, 2 if possible, for the Liverpool game. Didn’t realise tickets had even gone on sale - by the time I had they were gone.
  3. *Hear ...Should really proof read before posting Mods, can you edit? From what the lads at the station were saying about 30 'Bournemouth' fans came over, unopposed by police, and started 'laying' into them. They were drunk but didn't look like the type who actively look for these situations. Would appear the police left Bournemouth 'lads' unattended.
  4. Did anyone here of the trouble after the game? Was stood on the platform and about 8 lads claimed they were jumped and the police did nothing? Shocking if true. Anyone see anything?
  5. Football is a passionate game, if you honestly believe 'shouting a word' makes you less of fan then how precious must you be?! If you're offended by 'naughty words' sit in the family section where bad language is no more common than walking down the high street. If you take a child towards the more expressive stands just explain that those words aren't to be repeated- many posters on here will agree that it works. The woman over-reacted massively. Children will find these words out, take that from someone who works in various schools around the south- older siblings being the main culprits of where they've picked it up. It's no different to what you would get at every other football ground. As for Lallana, I suppose if I threatened strike at my job and acted a prat they'd all welcome me back with open arms. He burned his bridges the moment he signed that Liverpool kit and responded to the question "Are you joining Liverpool?" with "Hopefully". As for the choice of songs, maybe have a pop at the board for selling all fan favorites who had regular songs, what's the point on putting the effort to create a new song when they'll be sold a year or two later.
  6. Does anyone know the date of the last fans forum? How many years?
  7. I'd love to get that Oasis song going for Cedric, hasn't go going yet! What about to the tune of Park Life? He's Our Cedric, *Clap Clap* Our Mighty Cedric, And he Plays in Red & White, Here Southampton Sing, Cedric! *Clap to the tune of the song and repeat* Thoughts?
  8. No one was as shocked as I was. An earlier post mentioned if we're so worried about the poor atmosphere why not sing? Well I try pretty much every away game to no avail. Chelsea will be the same. Although if history is to go by- the lower tier will be 10x better than the upper.
  9. It's getting worse every season. Twice this season I have been told to quieten down by a supporter. It all comes down to ticket pricing, less and less working class people can afford to go. People more likely to drink, and make a day of things. It's why most teams support is on a downward spiral. Doesn't make anyone less of a supporter but will affect the Atmosphere.
  10. I'm already having nightmares of Lambert/Rondon dropping onto our full backs. If we're going to get something from this game we have to score 2. I'm going 2-2- Lambert to score last.
  11. The purpose is to not target Chelsea, more draw attention from the Premier League. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the away fans fund was formed from similar protests. Why stop there? I was merely making a point that we are at Chelsea, paying £50 a ticket- it would be the perfect venue for us to finally get involved in this campaign.
  12. Well £20 for away fans is more than reasonable, and is being executed by clubs like Swansea. Year by year this movement is getting louder and bigger- hence more clubs lowering fees or applying initiatives to help away fans.
  13. Haven't seen this anywhere else. The Football Supporters Federation annual protest is on the weekend of Chelsea away. Seems very appropriate considering the ticket prices. Anyone heard of anything being done on our part? If not, willing to help organise a banner? Given our game being televised, it's an opportunity to target one of the high offenders in fleecing supporters. http://www.fsf.org.uk/blog/view/Get-involved-Twentys-Plenty-Weekend-of-Action-Saturday-3rd-and-Sunday-4th-October
  14. No one in world football will have that chant. That's a fact.
  15. If we want original, I've got two words: Woolston Ferry.
  16. Thought the Atmosphere was good last night (Second Half). Could hear the Itchen North from Block 42 and even kick started the Northam. I personally thought that Block 43 were the best set this season, all singing and adding to the Northam, which is a refreshing change to what the block is usually like when sold to Home fans. I agree with Griffo, something needs to be done to unite the Itchen North and Northam but seems the only option is to move Away fans, which the police won't allow. Maybe contacting the club, considering the new regime have improved the relationship with fans, to see what can be done?
