And as I said, to be a good modern full back, you have to be able to attack. He'd be a centre back if he could only defend.

Bertrand is a better player, well done for pointing that out.

Cedric is no means great going forward, but he is probably on par with Clyne, who you’d have every day of the week.

He offers us pace and width down the right hand side, which we currently lack. He works hard, continually offering an overlap, and is generally solid defensively.

As someone else has said, if we were to sell, he’d have many suitors.

Who would you have ahead of him from our squad and who would you bring in to replace him then?
