SaintDonkey Posted 17 August, 2009 Share Posted 17 August, 2009 It's just the homepage that's gone from Gecko's site which is good since his shirt and badge histories are still there and very useful http://www.geckosaint.com/kithistory.htm http://www.geckosaint.com/badges.htm If he's not going to maintain them do you reckon we could get them hosted on SaintsWeb? Not heard from Javi for a while, but then I suppose we've lost all our Spanish Saints players so I suppose there's not much point in having a website. dignified_blunderer Posted 17 August, 2009 Share Posted 17 August, 2009 There is a great Russian site but to my knowlege no Russian saints players. http://www.southampton.ru/ Was the Spanish site just focussed on the Spanish players at Saints then? Rather than being a service for Spanish Saints fans?

dignified_blunderer Posted 17 August, 2009 Share Posted 17 August, 2009 :-) :-) A bit weird to read an own text (as I am an author) being re-translated back to original language :-) Its a nice site though and I often have a look to see if its still updating. Is there a big support for Southampton in Russia? I was suprised to read about 10 fans in the bar in Moscow for the Millwall game. In the pub i watched it in I was the only Saints fan. Moscow Saint (Zhezlov) Posted 17 August, 2009 Share Posted 17 August, 2009 (edited) Its a nice site though and I often have a look to see if its still updating. Is there a big support for Southampton in Russia? I was suprised to read about 10 fans in the bar in Moscow for the Millwall game. In the pub i watched it in I was the only Saints fan. though we are not in such a big numbers here Southampton FC is definetely the most supported club in the League 1 after Leeds Utd and one of the most supported outfit outside Premierleague (not counting on Newcastle Utd which is rather popular here). even some Premierleague clubs doesn't have any visible support here. and I dare to say the number of Russian 'Blue few' is close to zero :-) Edited 17 August, 2009 by Moscow Saint (Zhezlov)
Moscow Saint (Zhezlov) Posted 17 August, 2009 Share Posted 17 August, 2009 Any of you up to a bit of scouting? would like to :-) but the Saint is not a delicious target for russian top players any more :-( and the averages will not get the work permit 'cause we are not a EU member.
