I think he's brilliant and without him we would be well and truely screwed, and this is not a thread questioning his abilities as a captain. However, in my view we desperately need someone outfield who can tell these clueless morons who call themselves Saints players what to do. Kelv is too far away to influence anyone. We need someone in the midfield shouting and organising constantly but with Davis back in goal we don't get that. There was no communication at all tonight and it showed. That's what I was worried about. Hopefully he'll just assume that this was an off night and that we don't always perform like this... (haha yeah right). If he's as good as we hear though, we urgently need him or someone similar in the middle organising everything because at the moment, we have none of that. Kelvin is great...but we could just do with a vocal voice in the middle of the pitch that everyone can respect - kelvin is too far away at times. FFS it's not rocket science, Roy Keane was no Pele on the ball, good but not great; yet he was Fergusons most important player by miles, because he had a brain and could lead by example.
