saints_is_the_south Posted 27 January, 2010 Share Posted 27 January, 2010 Anybody know when tickets are due to go on sale if they go on sale at midnight on that day when buying online or not till the morning at the same time the phone lines/ticket office are open? Tractor_Saint Posted 27 January, 2010 Share Posted 27 January, 2010 If you're talking about the Pompey game I didn't think they were selling tickets online ? It's phone line only..

Yes was going to do it for Pompey game but assumed it would be the same for any game. Don't see the point in not doing online sales but still doing phones. saint-luco Posted 27 January, 2010 Share Posted 27 January, 2010 Any reason why they wouldn't do it online but just phones because I can't think of any reason. os says online not available for linked tickets, so its available for season tickets
Tractor_Saint Posted 27 January, 2010 Share Posted 27 January, 2010 I *might* have got it wrong tonight Might have been something I saw on the OS that made me think they wouldn't do online... And, anyhow, the allocation of one per ST ticket means that the sh*te online ticket system won't allow me to get all four tickets tomorrow and, even if you could, you can't get them in your ST seats so I'll be calling tomorrow and sorting out the four tickets with human interaction! Tractor_Saint Posted 27 January, 2010 Share Posted 27 January, 2010 Hold on - I can still buy tickets online for the Hartlepool match on the 13th Feb - is that game straight after the Pompey game?
Saint137 Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 Match is available for sale now, and there's no restriction on online ticket sales (I've just bought two tickets!). Got a full confirmation and they charged my credit card. I'm a ST holder in block 42 so just got tickets in block 41... Fingers crossed that this counts as a contract and they can't refuse to supply the tickets
Saint137 Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 Oh and when I say there is no restriction, just as a test I added 10 tickets to my shopping cart and it didn't complain. Just got a confirmation email from the club for the purchase

It went through though! Not sure if those that have ordered more than their allocation will get them. Will be interesting to see if that happens! To buy 1 from club you will need a customer number,if you have 1 no problem I would guess, although you may need to book the linked ticket as well to assure a seat. Your can tick the box next to the game you want to buy for and choose Add to Order. As far as I can tell this partially works. The problem is similar to the one I have for phone bookings. I have a ST + 3 STs linked to my a/c, it will only offer me mine plus one other which was purchased as STs together. The other 2 although linked were purchased as STs separately. It shows them as friends but does not show an access code for these extra 2. This is similar when I phone up as I did for Ipswich. The box office auto link for 1 but I have to talk them thru the other 2, no problem but a bit long winded and means to get all 4 I have to go thru this process. Any thoughts, comments? Cheers Alan

Cheers Alan This is long winded but the only way you can do it is to log on to each of the other accounts. Once in the other account hit "My Account" (top right) and if you expand the "Cup Match & Renewals" section on the left hand side you will be a 5 character 'Access code' in the match details. Make a note of this number (and if you are doing this for more than 1 linked account make sure you get the customer number too) and then log out. (Repeat for as many linked accounts as you have/want to do). Log back in to your account. Book your seat and if I recall correctly there should be an option to add friends or tickets - it's fairly obvious. This is where you will need the customer number and the access code you noted as described above. It does work, I have done it three times now, the FA Cup matches and the JPT match. I have also discussed it via email with David Luker - and he acknowledges that the system is not perfect. If you are booking your own regular seat and the regular seat of the linked accounts I can't see any advantage to go through the hassle of logging on and off and on and off several times just to get all the tickets into one envelope - you might just as well log into each account and buy the one ticket. Maybe it will be changed for next season. HTH
Michelle Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 I've just bought four online, and have two allocated off to the same customer number. However, I do have two season tickets allocate to that customer number anyway, so all should be well. Just hope it doesn't try to kick it out for that reason now! When you did this did it then appear in your "shopping cart" or is there a step I am missing ? - Thanks
